Posted June 3Jun 3 comment_6030684 Blue Blazer vs. Greg Valentine (MSG 4/24/89) - Blazer really takes control of the arm early working moves in and out of the armbar. Really nice work. He yanks the arm so many times at one point, Hammer does his patented face first bump. Hammer gets a break when he throws Blazer out of the ring. When he tries to get back in, Hammer ties him up and almost takes off the mask. Once Hammer is in control, he is much nastier. When he tries for the figure 4, Blazer rolls him up for a nearfall and the crowd bit on that one. Blazer is emptying the tank trying to get the win including a great missile dropkick. The crowd is also much better than Toronto. Exact same ending as Toronto. SOLID NOMINATION but I want to compare to the Boston match.
