Posted June 3Jun 3 comment_6030687 Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Savage (MSG 4/24/89) - 2 distinct differences to put this over the top. Hogan didn’t immediately no sell the foreign object. He let Randy get a pin first. Better camera angles close up on Sherri’s great work. Copy and pasting the description from Toronto because it’s the same match: - The crowd is hot for this match. Savage throws a robe at Hogan to get the advantage and attacks. Randy covers Hogan with the robe and hits an axhandle. Hogan takes of fthe robe and unloads on Macho. Randy tried using Sherri as a shield but Hogan didn’t buy it and beat up Randy at ringside. Hogan stays one step ahead of Randy the entire way. Hogan and Sherri get in a shouting match and that allows Randy to regroup. Sherri is the VIP of this match. She tries ramming Hogan into the ring post but fails. This does allow Randy to hit the super axhandle. Macho and Sherri take turns choking Hogan. Macho came down off the top with a foreign object on Hogan’s head. He hulks up after kicking out of a pin. Sherri distracts Hogan outside again and Randy gets the count out win after ramming Hogan into the guard rail. After the match, Hogan noggin knocks Sherri and Randy together. SOLID NOMINATION
