Posted July 13, 200916 yr comment_5441856 I liked this a bunch better then the Philippines NJ tag I also watched today. You still had all of the Murdoch and Adonis asskicking, but Johnson and Atlas were so much more animated and present in the match then Fujinami and Kimura. Murdoch and Adonis were awesome bumping and selling for Johnson and Atlas and the post match beatdown was totally brutal. Fun fun stuff WWE 24/7
September 22, 201411 yr comment_5627642 03/23/84 - Adrian Adonis & Dick Murdoch vs. Tony Atlas & Rocky Johnson (TT Champs) (St. Louis) I'll give this a low-level nomination. It was a real fun match. Adonis was great with some big bumps. Murdoch was no slouch in that dept. Atlas and Johnson brought a lot of high energy to the match.
June 3Jun 3 comment_6030690 ROCKY JOHNSON & TONY ATLAS vs ADRIAN ADONIS & DICK MURDOCH (03/23/1984; WWF St. Louis Kiel Auditorium; 00:17:53) 3 1/2* - I figured out why I get frustrated with Rocky Johnson. He has all the enthusiasm but his offense is toilet paper light. Nothing is snug. However, Adonis makes everything look like death as he bumps huge for the faces. Murdoch comes in and North-South quickly gain control of Atlas. The crowd is really behind Atlas. They keep him grounded with some leg work. Rocky finally gets the tag and goes nuts. Murdoch and Adonis sell like death. On the outside, Murdoch gets sent into the ring post. Murdoch recovers and smashes Atlas with a chair. Ref didn’t care. The heels regroup and attack Rocky on the outside. They piledrive Johnson on the concrete! Johnson is selling his arm like its broke. Atlas gets crotched inside. The match is thrown out. Someone throws a drink at Adonis. They destroy Rocky’s arm inside. Atlas gets stretchered out. The ending was sloppy chaos but really fun chaos. SOLID NOMINATION.
