Strike Force vs. Islanders (Philly 11/7/87)
-    Strike Force are champs here. Two referees for this match. GREAT Sequence to start as Tito executes the greatest Thesz press only to be pulled off by Tama. Tama then goes and punches Tama in the face. Awesome! Martel tags in and unloads on Haku. Martel saves his best stuff for Haku. They repeat the leapfrog spot from last month and its still awesome. Tito ends up FIP and gets double teamed. They add Tito getting choked by the bottom rope and on the edge of the apron. Great hot tag as Haku accidentally kicks Tama in the face and Martel tags in. A slingshot makes Haku headbutt Tama out of the ring and Tito hits the burrito for a nearfall. Both refs come in and ruin what was another nomination with a double DQ. This had too much cool stuff in to not to nominate it but the DQ hurts it. At least it isn’t the same finish where the wrong man gets the win. SOLID NOMINATION.

This is good & features some new wrinkles. I think the heat is less interesting than the 2/3 falls & the match doesn't have quite as much spark as most of the Sep & Oct 87 matches. The missed superkick is a great set up for the hot tag. I love the catapult bump the Islanders take. The finish also really hurts this. Are these refs twins? They're identical! I'm going to watch the last Philly match in December that Will nominated. The better one will move on.

MIDDLE NOMINATION (For now)
