Chavo & Hector Guerrero vs. The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) (1/21/85)

Fants are back home for a night to face the Guerreros. This starts off a little JIP with Hector trapping Rogers arms on the mat trying to get a pinfall. Hector used an awesome backdrop suplex on Rogers before making the tag to Chavo. Rogers would really take a beating here by the Guerreros who were tagging in and out. Hector breaks out a fucking full-nelson on Rogers as the Guerreros just keep pounding on Rogers relentlessly as Fulton is getting sick and tired of being on the apron and the fans are going apeshit. Rogers would get nearfalls on a backslide and an O’Connor Roll but he would always get cut off before making the tag. Rogers would get another nearfall on a cross body block then followed up with a dropkick after a leapfrog and finally got the hot tag to Fulton. Fulton comes in like a madman and the 4-way brawl is on with Rogers throwing some great punches on Hector. Fants hit stereo backdrops and stereo dropkicks before Fulton hits a cross body block from the middle rope but Chavo comes off the top rope with the Alamo Buster on Fulton’s back with Hector rolling on him for the 3 count. This was great stuff with Rogers doing what he does best and the Guerreros looking awesome. Definite nomination.
