Texas Tornado Match: Ted DiBiase & “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. Hacksaw Duggan & Terry “Bamm Bamm” Gordy (1/21/85)

 

This is a brawl at the bell as IT’S BREAKIN DOWN IN THE NO with Duggan & Gordy are firing away with the punches. Gordy & DiBiase start brawling on the floor then Duggan & Doc join them as this match is going all over the place. Duggan & DiBiase have a slugfest as Gordy throws a chair in the ring but Pee Wee Anderson gets rid of it. DiBiase & Doc would get the advantage at this time as Doc throws Gordy out and they double-team Duggan until Gordy gets back in the ring where he would get double-teamed. This would continue for a bit and DiBiase would hit a great falling fistdrop on Gordy but would miss his back elbow off the second rope. Doc would start stomping Gordy though until Duggan would come in and Gordy would hit a lariat on DiBiase who took it like a champ. Gordy & DiBiase are back on the floor with DiBiase getting bashed into the railing with Duggan chunking Doc out into the railing too. Duggan & Gordy both pound DiBiase with a double punch and he juices heavily with Gordy posting him for good measure. Doc & Duggan would end up back in the ring but Doc who is also juicing would kick him in the face and went back to the floor for Gordy. It would go back to being a 4-way brawl in the ring with DiBiase hitting a diving forearm off the middle rope on Gordy but Duggan catches him after it and starts pounding him with Gordy pounding Doc. Duggan would hit a big clothesline on DiBiase then cracked his head on Doc’s. Gordy would hit a clothesline on DiBiase as Duggan takes Doc over the top rope then Akbar would hit Gordy with the riding crop. DiBiase loads up the glove but misses and as Gordy goes for a backdrop DiBiase would jack his jaw for the victory. This was a wild all-action brawl and really fun stuff making for a definite nomination.

this was wild. Not the best match any man have been in but something where you are never bored and sometimes the action was too much to follow. I think Phil will enjoy this so I ca nsee this going to the next round.

Four big guys bleeding and punching each other in their faces. It isn't the best example of four guys doing that, but certainly good enough to make a list, man do I love watching Terry Gordy kill people
