RnR would switch in and out keeping the pressure on Doc by working on his left arm and keeping him grounded. Doc would end this though with a vicious backdrop suplex on Morton but Morton would recover enough to hit a cross body block but he was so hurt he couldn’t take advantage of it. Morton would roll to the floor and DiBiase would drop down picking him up and slamming him into the ringpost. Doc would then use a backbreaker a couple of times for a nearfall before tagging in DiBiase. DiBiase would continue the attack on the back with a backbreaker for another nearfall then dropping a knee. Morton would try to slam DiBiase but he was too hurt so DiBiase returned the favor and locked in a Boston Crab with Doc pushing on Ted’s head. Doc would tag in and dropped his leg on the back before locking in a bearhug before dropping him for a nearfall then went right back to the bearhug. Morton would break free then rolled out of the way of a diving elbow by Doc but DiBiase would tag in and jumped on Morton before he could tag Gibson. Morton would get an inside cradle out of a DiBiase backdrop attempt though for a nearfall, which infuriated DiBiase who went back on the attack but he would miss a running smash into the corner. Doc would tag back in but so would Gibson who was a house of fire as he would backdrop Doc with Morton coming back making it a 4-way brawl. Morton would try a Thesz Press on DiBiase but he chunked him to the floor as Gibson would hit his own on Doc. Gibson would dropkick DiBiase then Doc ate a double dropkick as DiBiase started brawling with Morton. Gibson has Doc pinned but Carl Fergie is with the others and when Gibson gets an O’Connor Roll on Doc, DiBiase loads up the glove and Doc rolls over for the victory. Very fun fast paced all-action match with Morton putting on a solid performance and the heels looking sharp. This is a solid nomination.
November 23, 200717 yr comment_5424397 This is the Houston match from PPW 19.4 right? If it is this belongs on the set, Morton is great eating nasty shots to the back, and I love how Doc Death whips around Morton with the bear hug. Finish was pretty cool too, and I love how Morton hits the double dropkick as a desperation move.
