Ted DiBiase vs. Brutus Beefcake (Boston 9/12/87)
-    DiBiase cuts a promo before the match and he is being pelted with trash. Beefcake nails Ted after the offer to take a hike and Brutus grabbed the money and gave it to the crowd. Brutus still has his jacket on. The crowd is in a frenzy. A fan throws a drink at Ted on the outside. This is heat. An early sleeper attempt erupts the crowd and forces Ted to go outside again. Ted controls back inside but trash is still being thrown at him. Ted punishes Beefcake and the crowd hates Ted. His offense is looking good too. Brutus small package looks good too. A DiBiase chinlock ends with Brutus escaping and running into a knee from Ted. Ted tries his second rope axehandle into his front flip bump after being nailed in the gut. DiBiase is begging and Brutus us strutting. Virgil trips Brutus and Ted grabs the tights on a roll-up. Uncreative finish  but the heat after the match is insane. More trash is being thrown and the crowd is unglued thinking Ted was going to get a haircut. So this may not be the best singles Brutus match but it is by far the most exciting with the most heat for an opponent. Trash was being thrown at Ted non-stop for the match. Huge Beefcake chant after the match. The trash still in the ring was wild. MIDDLE NOMINATION (because it's still Beefcake) but the atmosphere was a SOLID NOMINATION.
