The first few minutes are all Macho and that is perfect because Honky is best at bumping and stooging and getting his ass beat. Just great spots including a fast running elbow to Honky’s head. Savage misses a charge and Honky light shim up with great Memphis punches and Savage is trapped in the ropes. Honky’s offense is decent but the real fun starts when he tries to hit on Elizabeth and Savage just lights him up. Now Honky is trapped… and Macho returns the sweet Memphis punches. Savage chases Jimmy and Honky hits Macho with the megaphone from behind. Great back and forth match. Wow. They have a Honky punches vs. Macho elbow points battle in the corner. Honky really does do a beautiful 2nd rope fist drop. Macho counters Shake Rattle & Roll and the crowd erupts. Macho is making the comeback! Double axe handle and Honky is sent outside. Now the super axe handle!!! The crowd rumbled for the big elbow and erupted when he hit it and pinned Honky. I don’t think they were believing what they were seeing. EASY NOMINATION. Honkytonk Man’s best match ever.
