Ware vs. Islanders & Bobby Heenan (Toronto, Maple Leaf 4/24/88) - You gotta love 80s WWF when the Islander and Koko have a battle of the hardest heads. Later on, DK gets stunned from headbutting Haku. Heenan is the best. From tagging out immediately at the beginning of the math or attempting to interfere only to disappear the second KOKO tuns his attention to him. This match needed more Heenan in the firs ten minutes. Heenan pulled a string out of his tights and chokes the life out of Koko. Koko in peril isn’t a bad place to be. Koko started to “Bird up” and chased Heenan out of the ring area. Both guys disappeared up the ramp. Koko comes back alone. Despite the two on three advantage, we get a DK in peril segment. The Islanders have been really good at cutting off the ring. DK makes the tag to Davey first and eventually Koko gets the tag. Koko looks to have the match when Heenan runs out of nowhere, hits Koko with a foreign object from the top rope and Koko loses. This was so much fun but needed even more Heenan. SOLID NOMINATION.
