Posted June 15Jun 15 comment_6031333 Jumping Bomb Angels vs. Glamour Girls (Boston 1/9/88) - Judy Martin steamrolls the Angel right away. No sells a double clothesline as the Angel goes down. Counters a kick in the corner and just drops the Angel flat. The crowd is not responding but they didn’t give the crowd a real reason to get behind the Angels. Leilani Kai comes in and she gets her ass kicked and quickly tags out but Martin is reluctant to tag. Some nice work with the Angel controlling Martin with her arm bar, continuously moving and flipping in and out of the move. A tag is made and the Angel goes to the surfboard which leads to a top rope arm drag and flips Martin right to her corner to make the tag. All four in and we get a double octopus stretch. The crowd finally comes alive with the sweet stalling gut wrench suplex. The Glamour Girls have a nice heat sequence with some near tags and the crowd eventually comes alive. A hot tag and the Angel hits some high flying and fast paced moves. A bridging butterfly is broken up and as the Angel is running the ropes, Martin pulls her hair, gives her a gourdbuster and Kai gets the win for the champions. This picked up in the 2nd half crowd wise but is 3rd out of 4 in my feud viewing. SOLID NOMINATION.
