One Man Gang vs. Don Muraco (MSG 1/25/88)
-    The Garden is hot for Muraco? Hotter than for JYD? Yep. Muraco taking it to Gang early on and working on the legs while Gang is on the amt. Smart. He then pushes him down and does a falling headbutt to the nuts. He starts punching Gang slowly and then the crowd counts long. He keeps working on the legs including a falling leg breaker. Now he’s hooking in a spinning toe hold as Gang is crying out. LOL… Muraco is trying to hook a figure 4 on Gang and when he hooks that leg, the crowd erupts. Gang is so tall he quickly reaches the ropes but it was a neat spot. Now Muraco straddles Gang in the corner. I thought Muraco was going to do a Shattered Dreams but he just kicked the legs. Gang can’t stand without holding the ropes.  Muraco gets closer and Gang gives some back elbows to buy himself some time. Gang attacking Muraco with holding the ropes. Muraco on his knees hammering on Gang’s knee but Gang just hammer shim down. Muraco is trying to hulk up. They start slugging each other. Gang still holding the ropes. Muraco climbs the Gang for a sleeper. Gang can’t hold Don’s weight. Slick distracts the ref. Superstar Graham grabs Slick but Butch Reed came in and smashed the cane over Rock’s head and One Man Gang falls on top for the pin. I had so much fun watching this. I promise I am not just in a good mood. This was legitimately smart wrestling. STRONG NOMINATION.
