Posted June 16Jun 16 comment_6031344 British Bulldogs vs. Brutus Beefcake & Greg Valentine (2/3 Falls) (SNME 10/4/86) (LOOK FOR BETTER VQ ON PEACOCK?) - 1st fall: Bulldogs controlling early. Davey does his arm work and Beefcake reverses and does his hammerlock drop. Hammer with a Hammer elbow from the top rope. Dynamite gets the tag but he also is getting punished. DK tries the snap suplex but blocked by Hammer who hooks in the figure 4 and wins the 1st fall. - 2nd fall: An update on Adrian Adonis before the fall. Adonis immediately tries to get another figure 4 on. The heels working on DK’s legs. Double teams; leg breakers, stomps… the punishment is non-stop. DK keeps kicking out of the heel pinfalls. Hammer 2nd rope elbow misses and Davey gets the hot tag. Dave cleans house and he isn’t quite there with the stalling suplex. He does hit the running powerslam on Hammer but Brutus interferes so he picks up Brutus, tags DK, and DK leaps off Brutus’s back and headbutts Hammer for the pin. Hot pin for the 2nd fall. - 3rd fall: DK looked strong but misses a falling headbutt aqnd Hammer takes over. DK now in peril. Hammer goes back to the leg that was hurt in the 1st fall. Hammer does a spinning toe hold but DK kicks him and gets the tag. Davey in but the heels beat on Davey. Davey kicking out of the Beefcake pin attempts. All 4 men in the ring and Davey gets a fisherman’s suplex on Brutus for three! I was not expecting that finish. I thought this was as good as any match the two have had together. STRONG NOMINATION.
