BRITISH BULLDOGS vs MOONDOGS (07/12/1986; WWF MSG; New York, NY; 00:21:40)
-    Bulldogs control early. Moondogs bumping well for the Bulldogs. First few minutes, they keep things moving and even when they hook in the arm bar, they are continuously moving in and out of the move with some well-timed bumps. Davey is trying to hook on the Sharpshooter but had to break the hold and grab the legs of Rex to prevent the tag. Rex doing a pretty good job of heel in peril. The middle third of the match, the Bulldogs work on the legs and now Spot is heel in peril. DK misses a charge to get stunned but he is still fighting back constantly but ends up in trouble. The biggest obstacle right now is finding a moment or spot or strategy that is more than just a “good solid match” and becomes a memorable match. The most memorable part so far is the Dogs vs. Dogs idea. Rex tries a second rope splash and in a great near tag, Spot kicks Davey’s hand away to prevent the hot tag. DK and Spot were the legal men when all 4 were fighting. DK hits a flying body press on Spot for the win. Good solid match that needed more memorable moments for a higher nomination. MIDDLE NOMINATION.
