ROCKY JOHNSON & TONY ATLAS vs ADRIAN ADONIS & DICK MURDOCH (02/10/1984; WWF St. Louis Kiel Auditorium; 00:12:24)

-          Adonis tries to get in the ring and Atlas immediately rams Adonis’ head into the post on the apron. Rocky has a bloody bandage on his forehead. The crowd is HOT. Big Irish whip into the corner and Adonis is taking his 2nd big bump and the crowd is rumbling. Murdoch takes over on Atlas but not for long and he has to tag back to Adonis. Adonis kicked Atlas low and the heels take over. An atomic drop for good measure. Adonis goes up top and gets crotched. Johnson come sin and starts to clean house but Murdoch starts punching and stomping on his head. They ram Rocky into a chair. They smash his head with another chair. Adonis holds his leg while Murdoch plays tag on his head. Now Adonis comes in and hits the bulldog and an elbow drop. Rocky tries to fight back but the heels just keep tagging on the cut. Huge heat for this segment. They are relentless attacking the head and Rocky keeps fighting back. Rocky gets his big sunset flip but Murdoch saves. Double noggin knocker and the crowd is yelling. Rocky tried to slam Adonis but collapsed for a two count. Looked like Rocky got three on a roll up but Adonis had already tagged out to Murdoch. Rocky wants to keep fighting but the ref stops the fight due to blood. EASY NOMINATION.
