Their July match in MSG was far better and more heated. They went through a lot of the same spots as that match. There was some stiffness and Hulk's offense looked good. Valentine bumped well for it early on. Hulk had his leg worked on after getting it smashed by a chair. He countered the figure four and did his thing to retain.” - Hogan in control early foiling every move Hammer makes. After Hogan rolls into the ring, Hammer takes over and is dropping Hammers and punching Hogan right in the head. His shots look stiff enough you think he is trying to bust him open hard way. Valentine typing Hogan’s legs up and yanking on the ropes for leverage. He puts his knee into the hamstrings, using the apron to jam the knee, hitting the leg with a chair. This is NASTY. Hogan can’t stand up so he trips Hammer to get away. Hogan hulks up and gives Hammer the clothesline. He gives him a suplex back inside. Hogan doesn’t cover but punches and bites him instead. Hogan mocks Valentine after an atomic drop. Hammer uses a Hammer forearm to take Hulk down. He then chokes him to keep him down more. Hammer is pissed. NICE backbreaker and 2nd rope elbow. Hammer goes to the top but gets slammed off the top. Hogan crumples because of his bad leg. Hammer yanks the leg and Hogan avoids the figure 4. Hogan up with the axe bomber and leg drop. I thought this was a great match. I think a young Devon was fed up with a bad card underneath and was grumpy by the time this match came around. STRONG NOMINATION.
