Posted June 21Jun 21 comment_6031596 TERRY FUNK vs RICK MCGRAW (08/03/1985; WWF Boston Garden; 00:17:28) - Funk is crazy taking an Irish whip and doing as big of a bump as he took in three seconds of match time. He is giving McGraw some shine. Funk is all shtick and giving McGraw plenty for the first 7 minutes or so. A trick knee and Funk finally takes over. McGraw outside and Funk threatens to go after the fans who are chanting JYD. Gorilla even mentioned “Funk is challenging the entire Boston Garden”. Funk allows McGraw to come back and takes a nutty bump head frist to the concrete floor. Funk is awesome. A double noggin knocker and Funk has the corniest bump to the mat. McGraw caught Funk in an airplane spin into a Samoan drop but doesn’t pin. He gets a high cross body for two. He hits the ropes again but gets caught in the sleeper for the Funk win. Funk is so awesome. Just a one-man entertainment center. McGraw isn’t the opponent he should go 15 minutes with. I will give this a LOW END NOMINATION so you guys can watch the match.
