Randy Savage vs. Ultimate Warrior (MSG 2/20/89)

Savage tries to ambush Warrior with his robe on but Warrior counters and sends Savage packing with a shoulder tackle. He throws Savage back in the ring with a military press. So far, they cut out all bullshit and are doing a sprint version of the Boston match. This time, Warrior caught Savage and kept him in the tree of woe!!!! Yes! HE also did the ref in the corner spot. They have addressed some of the issues from Boston. Warrior misses a charge, gets a knee to be sent outside and a super axe handle for his troubles. Warrior letting Savage get more of the match here.  Savage was going to the chin lock and then remembered he is Randy Savage so he just starts choking Warrior. Warrior makes a comeback and Savage hits a sweet clothesline to cut him off. Now it’s the 2 counts starting. Like Boston, Rude comes down to distract Warrior. They are still both getting really close two counts and the crowd is nuts the entire time. What a difference execution makes. Warrior gets a powerslam but he goes and chases after Rude. Same finish as Boston. Warrior chokes Rude as Macho hits an axe handle and gets the win by count out. It went from no nomination to a STRONG nomination because they cut out some bullshit and hit all of their stuff.
