Mr. Perfect vs. Hercules (Meadowlands 7/10/89)

-          Perfect slaps Hercules and runs out of the ring. He engages and bails again. Herc has enough of Hennig’s stalling and pulls him up to the ring from his hair. He tries to stomp his face but Perfect rolls out. He tries to bail again, Herc grabs his tights, Irish whip and Perfect does a cartwheel. Herc just grabs him and does a double lifting choke. Herc whips him and he bails again and he and the crowd are frustrated. This is actually pretty smart. Herc flips Perfect in, rams him on the turnbuckles and hooks a headlock. Hercules is working that headlock!  Hercules has some nice punches. He whips Perfect and gets him in the bear hug. Perfect pokes him in the eyes to get the break. Perffect tried for a Perfect plex but his back was hurt and Hercules was able to press slam him. Hercules works him over but Perfect grabs him and yanks Herc’s head on the top rope. Perfect attacks and the crowd is into this match. They are rallying for Herc to fight back and when he does, he gets thrown out of the ring, Perfect plays King of the Mountain. Crowd rallies again and Hercules fires away while Hennig does his wild bumping. Hercules grabs the torture ack and the bell rings. 15-minute time limit. What a great match. Another awesome Hercules find. STRONG NOMINATION.
