It could be the arena or the way it is filmed. It’s a completely different environment. Savage throws the robe on Hogan and attacks. He takes the World belt and attacks. The ref grabs the belt away so Macho runs and kicks Hogan in the head. Big axe handle right away. He is non-stop. Another axe handle. He still has his glasses and headband on. Hogan pops up and nails Macho who wasn’t paying attention. Now Hogan wears the glasses, very similar to the No DQ. Hogan rams macho into the post like a dart. Double lift choke. Hogan is blowing kisses at Elizabeth. This definitely feels like other matches. WE may need a viewing party to see which one deserves to be on the set. Macho throw Hogan out, rams him into the steel rail and plays king of the mountain. Hogan fights back and bounces Macho’s head off the turnbuckle. Turnbuckle whip and large clothesline follows. Macho out of the ring after an atomic drop and Liz is the human shield. Macho taunts Hogan inside and Hogan spits at him and slides out., Macho gets the super ax handle when Hogan was not paying attention. He hits another. Savage keeps getting 2 counts including his superb running clothesline. Macho hits the elbow and Hogan kicks out and hulks up. Hogan no-selling. Big boot sends Macho outside. Another flying elbow attempt but Hogan gets Macho’s chin with a boot on the way down for the three count. I enjoyed this a lot but it feels like a greatest hits match. It will warrant a rematch for direct comparison. SOLID-STRONG NOMINATION.
