Hammer unloads with some forearms and Davey says “Hold my beer” and unloads with his own forearms. HE slams him in the buckle and then clotheslines form behind to send him down. Nice. Davey showing Hammer up and gets him in his Bulldog Sharpshooter! He stays on the legs and does a wishbone. They tease a suplex outside but Davey suplexes Hammer inside. Damn, Hammer’s forearm rings Davey’s bell. They fight for a pin and the fucking camera focuses on Johnny V instead of the action. Hammer goes to the top and gets slammed off for two. Small package gets two. Hammer has Davey on the ropes and instead of breaking, he kicks him out of the ring. He rams him in the railing. Now he is king of the mountain. Back inside, Hammer gets a suplex, the winding forearm drop and a sleeper. Hammer keeps him grounded but can’t get the pin. Davey tries to stand up but Hammer takes him down with another forearm and another headlock. Davey breaks with a back suplex. Davey makes a comeback. He hits the powerslam. Davey gives chase outside. Dumbass. Hammer gets the figure 4. Middle of the ring. He reaches the ropes! Hammer can’t get the figure 4 again but Davey rushes the corner and Hammer drops a Hammer from the 2nd rope and gets the three. This was well-worked and intense. The thing that hurts is the polite crowd. SOLID NOMINATION.
