This was a pretty fun match. We Have Steamboat and Kid getting the cowboy hats and making cowboys poses. Steamboat starts off and looks like a million bucks. Both Funks just feeding him to make him look good. At one point JYD midget tosses Kid on top of JJ for a nearfall. That was pretty hilarious. Both heels are on the outside and in a great tease the faces Irish whip Hart and are about to to a triple team spot on him, but the Funks pull him out to the floor for the save. Another great moment was Steamboat and Hoss having a chop off vs. European upper cut battle. Another fun spot JYD has JJ Funk in a full nelson. Kid Climbs the top rope and chops Funk. At one point the Boston Garden erupts and is chanting we want Hart because they want him to kick his ass. Kid runs on the floor and pulls Jimmy off the apron. JYD plays FIP for a bit, it was bad but the crowd was with him. Steamboat comes in and is cut off and becomes FIP. This was well done. We get the hot tag to JYD. Eventually he's cut off and Jimmy hart is tagged in. JYD recovers and we have all 6 in. Hoss slams Kid behind the refs back and Hart covers him for 123. Real fun stuff.

DORY FUNK JR. & JIMMY JACK FUNK & JIMMY HART vs JUNKYARD DOG & RICKY STEAMBOAT & HAITI KID (04/26/1986; WWF Boston Garden; 00:23:18)

-          The faces come in the ring and Jimmy Jack tries to noose JYD before the bell. That fails and the heels bail. Steamboat wearing Jimmy Jack’s cowboy hat to taunt the heels. Then Haiti Kid wears it and the crowd pops. Steamboat body slams the heels multiple times, Dog drops for the headbutts and then Hart gets in but he escapes outside. Inside, things settle down and Steamboat chops JJ who tags Dog, who throws Haiti Kid on to JJ. The Crowd loved it.  Dog has Hoss in a hold and Haiti runs and bites him in the butt. Steamboat in control of Hoss. Dropkicks for everyone from Steamer. Jimmy Hart refuses to tag in. The crowd chants WE WANT HART. Steamboat with nice arm work on Jimmy Jack. Dog tags in and headbutts the arm. Sweet. Stiff clothesline on JJ. Dog has a full nelson on JJ, walks to the corner and Haiti Kid chops him…. HARD! Hoss does the Terry running the ropes while Dog watches spot. It doesn’t have the same spark. I have to be honest. Damn, Dog’s punches to Hoss were snug as fuck. This has been all babyface and the match has been better for it. The Funks get noggin knocked inside. Haiti yanks Hart off the apron outside and Hart chases Haiti. Steamboat cuts them off and Haiti is safe... for now. Dog charges in the corner and Hoss punches him in the chin and Dog just drops. It looked nasty. JJ just punching the neck and face of Dog and Dog selling every punch. JJ hooks a sleeper and Dog in peril. Come on, nobody wants this dumb sleeper. JJ tags out to Hoss and Hoss with the European uppercuts… four to be exact. A punch and headbutt drops Hoss. Big tag to Dragon who cleans JJ’s clock. Jimmy cuts it off with a FUCKING LARIAT. It wasn’t that wild but it looked great. Now, we have a Dragon in peril. Piledriver reversal and suplex reversal from Steamboat but no tag. Hoss gets the tag. Hoss with a high knee and fist drop. Hoss in with the uppercuts. Chop chop chop. Dog back in and he hits a FUCKING STAN HANSEN TRIBUTE LARIAT… broken up pin by Hart.  Russian leg sweep by Dog but both men are down. Dog pin for two. Double clothesline but Jimmy jack has the wildest nastiest clothesline bumps that make it look so fucking good. Hart saves a pin again. JJ gets a knee lift and Dog is down. JIMMY HART TAGS IN. He stomps on the Dog. Kicks him…. And the Dog says HELL NO. He pulls Hart’s hair and gets the atomic drop. Haiti Kid comes in to a huge pop. Haiti Kid karate chops for two. All 6 men in. Dog has Hart but Hoss knocks him out with the megaphone. Hoss grabs Haiti Kid and body slams the poor guy. Jimmy Hart with the pin. FUCK. This was amazing. No hyperbole. Great tag structure. Great fun. Great bumping. Great comedy. Sick strikes. The match builds the drama the last ten minutes. Everyone played their part to perfection. Bonus points to Jimmy Jack for the amazing bumps… and the clotheslines. Fuck man… the clotheslines. SLAM DUNK NOMINATION.
