TERRY FUNK vs JUNKYARD DOG (10/12/1985; WWF Boston Garden; 00:15:45)

-          Funk attacks with all his gear on and Dog punches him while he is dangling on the ropes. Dog has the cowboy hat on. Dog throws the hat on the ground and Dog gets down and headbutts Terry before he can get the hat… or as Jesse said, “Dog put the bait out and Terry took it.” Inside, Dog beats up Funk again and sends him out. Huge JYD chant. Funk does the spot where Funk repeatedly headbutts Dog and hurts himself. JYD went after Hart again and got ambushed. Outside, Dog slams Terry on the floor. Funk uses that trick knee to take control. Leg drop for two. Funk uses the tape around the throat in this one. Funk gets the sleeper. The crowd rallies for Dog. Dog was out but gets chopped down. Counters with 7 headbutts and Funk is only up because Dog is holding him up. Awesome. He grabs Jimmy Hart and whips him into the corner. He knocks Hart out but Funk knocks Dog out with the branding iron. This was one of the awesome ones. STRONG NOMINATION… because it had a hot crowd, Dog got his hands on Hart and the multiple headbutts at the end… but we will need to choose with he other STRONG NOMINATIONS which ones will remain. Everything else we have seen before so we have to get the best representation of this match on the set.
