Posted July 1Jul 1 comment_6032107 Randy Savage vs. Hercules (Boston 10/3/87) - Hercules attacks immediately. He pounds Macho down in the corner and throws him out of the ring. Hercules starts posing to Liz allowing Macho to ambush him from behind. Each guy is reversing and dodging the other. Macho is getting the best of Hercules with choking and throat attacks. Hercules reverses a whip and hits a clothesline. Not one of his best. Hercules controls. He hits a back breaker and starts posing. Bonus points if his posing costs him in the end. He applies a bear hug. Macho finally hand claps to break and is selling the back. Macho hits a bionic elbow off the 2nd rope to drop Herc. Great strike exchange and a running bionic elbow drops Hercules again. Top rope ax handle gets two and the crowd is nuts. Herc backdrops a piledriver attempt, Savage grabs his tight to pull him over in a sunset flip. Hercules drops to his knees to pin him. He starts flexing allowing Savage to hook his arms with the legs and complete the sunset flip for three. HOLY SHIT!!!! The taunting cost him the match. GREAT FINISH. Not just because I predicted it. STRONG NOMINATION (Solid nom but the finish propels it to strong).
