Posted July 2Jul 2 comment_6032113 Greg Valentine & Dino Bravo vs. Killer Bees (MSG 10/16/87) - Really nice arm work by both Bees early on. Hammer counters with a leg scissors, reaches over and tags Dino. Bravo comes in and actually shows some agility until Brunzell hooks in the headlock. So far, so good. I am really liking how the Bees are manipulating control. Great tag work, innovative execution. Thumbs up early on keeping I smart but moving. OH shit… a high knee nails Bravo in the face and looked NASTY. Bravo powers Brunzell into his corner and Hammer comes off the top with his patented Hammer. Hammer and Bravo actually working well as a team early on. Nothing Bravo has done has offended me and he was eating the Bees offense early on. Hammer tried a figure 4 but got pushed in a corner as a nice hope spot. Hammer throws Jim out and this allows the Bees to get their masks on. Miraculous comeback from the Bees. Great punches from Blair. He got a sleeper but Bravo came in and broke it up and Hammer got a back suplex and both guys are out. They pull the old switcheroo and a small package is broken up. Hammer gets a figure 4 attempt while the ref is sending Bravo back and the other Bee with the top rope sunset flip for the pin. I really enjoyed this match. Maybe the best Bravo-Valentine match I have seen. SOLID-STRONG NOMINATION.
