British Bulldogs vs. Jacques & Raymond Rougeau (20:00) (Summerslam 8/29/88)

-          Rougeaus offer the handshakes but the Dogs don’t bite. Davey just rams Jacques into the buckle to get the crowd counting. Ray gets plowed by a shoulder tackle and they control the arm. DK blocks a monkey flip with an abdominal headbutt. Nice work going in and out of the arm for both Bulldogs. DK clothesline was nasty. Jacques trips Davey to allow the Rougeaus to take over ad Ray gets the tag. Jacques with an Indian death lock to work the leg. Not a fan of the standing heel hold. Davey monkey flips his way to a hot tag. DK explodes and a falling headbutt gets a two count. Dk throws Ray to the floor and Davey rams him into the barricade. Great saves by Jacques. First breaking up the pin on the powerslam. Then the back suplex when DK had Ray in the corner. Now the Rougeaus are double teaming and cheating as Dynamite is in peril. Crowd sort of died down with the Jacques chin lock. DK small package gets the crowd on their feet. The hot tag was very casual. Davey in with a great military press that crotched Jacques on the top rope. Dogs get the double team press splash right as the bell rings for the expiration. I thought this was pretty great and a STRONG NOMINATION.
