Posted July 2Jul 2 comment_6032140 Randy Savage vs. Andre the Giant (SNME 11/26/88) - Andre the Giant Interview / Macho Man & Elizabeth Interview. - Savage trying his best at attacking Andre but Macho just chopped him down. Andre smothers Macho and rams him into the buckle. He does his corner back smash and gets Macho knees to the back. Andre starts choking Macho with the singlet which we have seen before. The surfboard was a great visual as Savage fought but still had the singlet around his throat. Macho tries to push Andre to the corner but Andre is in complete control. Nice spot where Macho was being choked and Andre slings him to the mat with the rope. Macho’s comeback was pretty epic but damn, Andre just loved choking Savage. Andre just pounding on Andre until he falls o nhis knees is wild. Jake the Snake comes down to ringside. This has some heat (or piped in noise) and I wanted to love this but Andre was overly relying on choking. The referee wants Jake to leave so Savage convinces him to leave. Andre is distracted and Heenan is looking under the ring for Damian. Every time Andre gets distracted, Macho recovers and attacks and Andre swats him down. Damn, it looks like Andre split his head open with a headbutt. Andre then just sits on Savage repeatedly. Heenan found Damian but Jake is behind him and Heenan runs in the ring and the bell rings. Heenan is rammed in to Andre and Andre gets tied up again. Savage invites Jake into the ring and Damian is out of the bag. Andre escapes the ring with the ref’s help. This was all drama and insanity… but there was a lot of choking. Lots of choking. MIDDLE NOMINATION.
