Posted July 3Jul 3 comment_6032152 The Brainbusters vs. Jim Powers & Paul Roma (LA Sports Arena 11/17/88) - Arn and Roma start off. Decent little back and forth before Roma gives body slams and dropkicks to both guys to regroup. Roma ends up in the corner and he fights both of them off and it ends in a noggin knocker. Roma and Powers get the best of Tully and control with the arm bar. Tully plays heel in peril and they do a nice job of keeping them away and when Tully did get a tag, they grounded Arn and attacked his leg. Good stuff. The Stallions do a double figure 4. When it was broken up, the Busters threw Powers over the top and then did an Irish whip clothesline on the outside. Powers is in peril. Great double teaming on Powers from the Busters. Arn spinebuster broken up by Roma. Arn sings soprano and Powers makes the tag. Roma does a flying double cross body. Roma tries a monkey flip but Arn pushes him off. With the ref busy with Powers, the Brainbusters drop the spike piledriver for the pin. I think I like this better than the one from the first set but will go back and compare. SOLID NOMINATION.
