Genius does his early stalling and posing. They lock up, Genius avoids a punch with a cartwheel but gets a dropkick for his troubles. Genius out to regroup. He whips Koko, attempts a monkey flip, gets a fist to the face. Genius out to regroup. Genius back inside and posing. He wants a test of strength. Koko gets his own monkey flip and a dropkick sends Genius to the outside again. I love that Genius can choose to regroup outside but other times, he is forced outside by Koko. Back from break, Koko rams into the post and Genius takes over. Hillbilly Jim “He might dance like a little sissy but he will kick your head right off your shoulders.” Genius attacks and hooks the arm. Genius throws Koko out and drapes his arm on the railing and kicks the rail. Nice! Genius back with the arm bar and Koko whips him off with an arm drag but he sells the arm. Genius back to kicking the arm. Koko gets a reprieve with a headbutt but Genius attacks the arm again and does a hammerlock arm breaker. Genius goes up top for the senton but Koko rolls barely out of the way. Crowd rallies Koko. Nice Koko clothesline and a nasty forearm… and a nice leaping double forearm. Oh no, Koko hits some headbutts and he does a stun gun to himself. Genius for two. Great near fall. Koko fights back and whips Poffo into the corner. He leaps again… hits the turnbuckle and Genius rolls him up for three. Great match!!! I love all of the Genius shtick. Koko is lovable so the crowd stayed interested. Another poetry session after the match. Koko doesn’t let him finish the poem!!!! Awesome. STRONG NOMINATION.
