WWE goes ALL-IN with NXT The Great American Bash and WWE Saturday Night's Main Event on Saturday and the all-women's WWE Evolution on Sunday

A triple-header by the generous and benevolent WWE as they provide exciting wrestling action for all the poors who can't afford to drop $50 on AEW's offering.

I figure one thread for all three shows is fine.

I'm honestly not watching NXT - I couldn't even tell you what's on the card - but I'm curious about GUNTHER vs. Goldberg, and I'll check out Evolution in the hopes that it overachieves. I remember the first one being one of the best PPVs in years at the time, but that was during the dark senile Vince days.

The match stopped for a good minute and then Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaax Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu Priiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii won out of the blue when I don't think he would have otherwise. I fear it's a legit injury. Poor Seth. Rotten luck, right in the middle of his biggest push in ages.

Take it how you will, but Bryan Alvarez mentioned that he heard the last 40 minutes of SNME were changed because there was a segment that had to be scrapped. The implication was that the plan was for Goldberg to win the title and for Seth to do the cash in.  While that makes this suck even more for Seth if that was the case, it's also impressive that Gunther was told at the last second he's going to have extra time added to his match with BILL GOLDBERG and was able to go out there and make it work.

Also to be fair, kudos to Goldberg for being okay with going out with a straight loss. He probably could have that-doesn't-work-for-me-brother'd the idea, but he was okay with taking one for the team.

I’d say. How many other Pro Wrestling “legends” would be okay with getting choked out, flat on their back, in their final match ever? Especially when their whole gimmick their entire career was practically never losing?

This show is probably fine, but four wrestling PPVs/PLEs in two days (with three of the shows being WWE) isn't it. Neither company understands the meaning of pacing anymore.

Yeah, WWE feeling the need to compulsively counter-program AEW is just plain stupid. All they are really accomplishing is pissing off the hardcore fans, and contributing to the stupid tribalism by the online neckbeards.

She won, so I guess it wasn't a total waste, but a battle royale was the best thing they could come up with for Vaquer?

I had assumed she was either injured or in the doghouse after she disappeared following Money in the Bank weekend. She worked both major shows that weekend, and then pretty much dropped off the face of the earth.

I guess she must be in the good books still if she won that Battle Royal and is getting the shot at Clash in Paris.
