Posted November 25, 200717 yr comment_5424483 If you look in the Home Stretch Folder, I have numbers next to most of the matches that have been sent to the final round. All of those have been put in 4 hour mode and are on my computer. I did a test run earlier and had 77 matches on 5 discs. These also included the largest files with almost all of the 30+ minute matches. Therefore, I don't think I will have any problem fitting 150 matches on 10 discs. Even if you still nominate matches to be put in the final round due to tiebreakers or unanimous decision, those will get converted at a later time and I can just delete the matches we axe in the end. Nothing is set in stone yet. However, if you guys start knocking out the final remains, I can easily have this done before the Xmas holiday. Lets get this bad boy done!!!!
November 25, 200717 yr Author comment_5424495 No decision... Ric Flair vs. Dusty Rhodes (7/28/85) (WILL NO) Ted Dibiase & Bob Roop vs. The Samoans from 1981 (McAdam 1980-83) (8:56) Chavo Guerrero vs. Jesse Barr (from Houston) (Power Pro 3) PHIL TIEBREAKERS: FINISHED? KRIS TIEBREAKERS: FINISHED!!!
November 26, 200717 yr Author comment_5424537 Phil... which of the matches above do you still need so I can help expedite this process?
November 28, 200717 yr Author comment_5424638 Kris, did you send those discs yet? Phil, if you can knock out those tiebreakers by Saturday, we can chat on Sunday and pound out the final list and I can go in to production. I'll send you the McAdam disc and World Pro disc so we can decide on those matches as well.
November 28, 200717 yr comment_5424639 The deadline we had was Dec 17th, I don't think Kris is close to being finished with his batch, and Kris still has discs to send me. 17th is doable, but I don't think either of us can finish before then
November 28, 200717 yr Author comment_5424640 OK, well then I am going to drop out of this until you guys are finished. I was hoping to have it up and running and out before the holidays but I have neglected my comps long enough and need to make those a priority. Shoot me a PM when you are ready,
November 28, 200717 yr comment_5424644 I am finished with all of mine as far as tiebreakers and already nommed matches. All I'm doing now is watching stuff to see if there is anything you missed Phil.
November 29, 200717 yr comment_5424645 I thought we had decided on a finish date? I had been planning around Dec. 17th for a while, why am I all of a sudden a dick for sticking with the date we planned on?
November 29, 200717 yr Author comment_5424646 No, no, no Phil!!! You took that wrong. I thought you guys were all cleared up except for the tiebreakers. If that was the case, I could use the next few weeks in finishing up the set and have it mailed before Xmas... then have the 2 week vacation to work on my comps. That is why I was sending you discs and asking what you needed because i thought we were ahead of schedule. Instead, I am saying I am going to work on my comps until you two are ready (I'll break ties where need be) for the final list but my priority will be my comps where it has been the project.
November 29, 200717 yr comment_5424657 Okay that is cool, it is two days before the LSAT so I have been working 12 hour days, plus I have a unexpected house guest tonight and tomorrow, so I can't late night watch, plus I am going to visit my parents for a week on Friday so I am going to need the extra time. Will go work on your comps, we will have the big decision chat on Mon 17th. BTW if you need help with 2007 comp I can suggest shit I have seen
November 29, 200717 yr Author comment_5424658 The 2007 comp won't be ready to go until March or so. I keep track of your picks at Segunda Caida as well as the lucha, puro threads and Observer picks. The main comps I am working on are Rey Part 3, Eddie Guerrero, 4 Horsemen, Stan Hansen, Terry Funk and Harley Race.
November 29, 200717 yr comment_5424660 You should start a comp thread here at the 80's board, just for what you are working on, working match lists ect. No one has watched more wrestling then Tomk, Kris, Loss and Me. You should use us as a resource. For example Terry Funk v. Dustin from FCW would be a cool Funk match to put on your Funk comp, just a great one man show with Funk doing a great job carrying green as goose shit Dustin
November 29, 200717 yr Author comment_5424661 I have that going on the Collector's Corner. I'll create a forum here for those I need help with... Hansen, Funk, Race. As for the Dustin match, I have that ready to go for the Funk and Dustin comps.
