Posted September 8Sep 8 comment_6034103 Jumping Bomb Angels vs. Glamour Girls (Philly 3/12/88) (RICHARD LAND) This one starts off with a fast pace. Some great signature spots and we even get the stereo ab stretches. Solid match where we really needed some standout moments or even a more excited crowd to make the match come alive. Like all their matches, this had some nice moments and great counters but the crowd was not invested. Maybe because this one was shorter, they didn’t really work the holds. Also, hen Kai went flying from the 2nd rope, she flipped instead of going face first. It’s the little things at this point. Tateno’s hot tag offense was great and really picked things up. Great spot where Yamazaki knocked Tateno down with a body press but she recovered and got the victory roll for the quick pin. On it’s own, this was a SOLID NOMINATION but it might not even be the 4th or 5th best match from the 2 teams.
September 13Sep 13 comment_6034220 Agree with the Solid nomiantion, this match is more in line with what you would expect from this rivalry. Here it's the Angels defending againts the Glamour Girls. This match needs to go into consideration but also needs to go thorugh the rivalry review to see if it stays.
