This was a good competitive match and debuts Mike George as he watches the match from ringside. This went to a TV draw.

Iceman King Parsons vs. Sting (12/27/86)

Sting shows his growth here and hits an early version of the Stinger Splash. Sting nearly killed himself missing a cross body block hitting the ropes. Missy hit Iceman with her purse for the DQ as Iceman was about to capitalize. Good match for Sting.

PWI Tournament – Finals: “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. One Man Gang (12/12/86)

This is JIP from Houston with Gang being tied in the ropes ala Andre the Giant and Doc hits a big cross body block on him. It looks like we joined this at around 6:00 in. Gang really hammers Doc here with elbows and punches but Doc would start throwing bombs after the Gang missed a running splash in the corner. Doc would hit a running tackle then a bodyslam followed by a couple more tackles then tried another slam but Gang held the ropes long enough for Doc to crash down for a 2.9 nearfall. Doc blades here and Gang starts biting the cut with Doc juicing nicely. We go to a break with Gang pounding on Doc and we come back with Doc pounding on Gang on the floor. Doc sees his own blood and he starts throwing more bombs on Gang sending him back to the floor. Doc grabs a steel chair and nails Gang a couple of times with Gang hitting a .8 on the Muta scale of gushers. Doc would punch him then hit a big clothesline for a nearfall. Doc would throw Gang in the ropes but they knocked heads and knocked down Tommy Gilbert so this brings in Akbar who hits Doc with the riding crop. Gang gets up and goes for the 747 off the middle rope but Doc would sit up and Gang missed with Doc rolling on him for the pinfall. The Houston crowd goes nuts for Doc’s victory. If we had this in full it would be a definite nomination but this is clipped quite a bit. I want to see what Will thinks about this as being too clipped.
