Compare this to the Nikita Koloff match from 1987 and tell me which one is worthy of being on this set. Luger collapsing because of the damage done to his leg was great and using the ropes for the win is classic Flair. Another easy nomination.

Just a really great match, not only Luger's best up until this point, but probably also Flair's best match of '88. Blows away the Sting match at Clash I for me. YES. Top 15 nomination.
August 31, 201411 yr comment_5622060 This is a high end nomination. The early arm work by Luger was consistent and smart. Flair was great at selling it. We eventually transition to the heat . I loved the chair shot to set up the work on the leg. Flair was amazing in attacking the leg. Even busting out a knee drop. I'm glad all the leg work paid off at the finish. Luger was a crowbar for time or. 2 in the match.
