December 9, 200717 yr comment_5424950 I watched this a few weeks ago and loved it more than I had in the past, where the energy and heat was off the charts, but Flair seemed to have some ring rust. Now, this match doesn't feel like that at all. Really inspired and still doesn't feel stale nearly 20 years later. Even though they look like crap, Flair's revenge piledrivers make for a great moment. Definitely include the PPV version of this match, because the post-match brawl was cut down on the commercial release. That post-match brawl, if it were a match, would honestly probably be in the top 2 or 3 on the WWF set.
August 27, 201411 yr comment_5621512 This was great. The hate and blood was perfect for this. All the revenge spots you would need a psychologist to follow along. The finish was good for a rematch. Funk has a real believability to him. This is a high end nomination.
