Too many great Flair matches o consider this one. Jimmy Valiant vs. Shaska Whatley (hair vs. hair match) (GAB 7/5/86) - Another extra that will be included in the Jones-Valiant feud. Jimmy Valiant vs. Paul Jones (hair vs. hair match) (GAB 7/26/86) - See above Tully Blanchard vs. Ronnie Garvin (taped fist match) (GAB 7/26/86) - I love this feud and there are tons of angles and matches that should be seen. I don't think I will nominate it but I may put it in an extras disc. Road Warriors vs. Ivan & Nikita Koloff (Russian chain match) (GAB 7/5/86) - We miss about 4 minutes of an 11 minute match. Both of these teams are served better when they have guys like the RNR, MX or 4 Horsemen to face. Rock N Roll Express in Concert Clip Rock N Roll Express vs. Ole & Arn Anderson (GAB 7/26/86) - I think I have this in full on a TV show. If not, I'll rewatch this and make a determination. Magnum TA vs. Nikita Koloff (Match 4 of 7) (GAB 7/26/86) - Not nearly as good as Match 6 or 7. I'll throw it up on the block so you can compare it to 6 and 7 but I think you will come out with the feeling that this could be left off since the other two are so much better. Magnum TA, Dusty Rhodes, & Baby Doll vs. Midnight Express & Jim Cornette (steel cage match) (GAB 7/5/86) - Another EXTRA if I decide to cover the MX-James Boys feud along with Cornette's awesome promos putting down Baby Doll. Not a set match. Ric Flair vs. Dusty Rhodes (steel cage match) (GAB 7/26/86) - I just watched this the other night on the Dusty DVD. I'll leave this one alone until I cover that set.
December 10, 200717 yr comment_5424982 It pains me to have to agree with you on Flair/Road Warrior Hawk, as much as I don't want to, simply because Flair is amazing in that match. Talk about doing everything you possibly can with an opponent who pretty much can't do anything.
December 20, 200717 yr comment_5425598 Russian Chain: The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. "The Russian Bear" Ivan & "The Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff (7/5/86) (Road Warriors) Independence Stadium in Charlotte is hot for this one, as these teams have been feuding on and off for over a year and this is the culmination of this feud. Both teams pound the hell out of each other with the chain and Ivan juices first like 2 minutes into the match with blood just streaming out. Animal dominates Ivan while Nikita is all over Hawk but the Russians would start teaming up using the chain to punish the Roadies. Nikita would send Hawk to the grass and took off his chain so he could hit Animal with the Russian Sickle but as Ivan would climb up top, Ellering pushed him off and Animal covered for the win. There was a fun brawl after the match but this isn’t enough for a nomination.
