Posted December 9, 200717 yr comment_5424968 Mike Rotunda vs. Z-Man - I enjoyed this match but not enough for a nomination Midnight Express & Dr. Death vs. Samoan Swat Team & Samoan Savage (23:07) - This had some really great offense from both teams with Doc & Eaton really shining here. Eaton's botched bulldog attempt into a corner crotch drop was really awesome. Hell, he takes a great bump outside the ring as well. While none of the guys were really being pushed heavily at the time, the crowd was really into this. Hell, once Bobby makes the hot tag this is nothing but non-stop action. Damn, I don't think I have ever heard of this match getting positive pub but I think this is an easy nomination and would put it up against all but the highest end of Mid South six mans. Terry Funk & Gary Hart Interview Cuban Assassin vs. Tommy Rich - No Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin Interview Fabulous Freebirds vs. Dynamic Dudes - I have never seen a Dudes match I liked that didn't have the MX on the other side. This is no different. I love how they are supposed to be the faces and have the most heel heat of anybody on the show. Steiner Bros. Interview Doom vs. Rick & Scott Steiner - There are much better Steiner-Doom matches. Unfortunately, I think they are all in 1990 Brian Pillman vs. Lex Luger (22:32) - Best Luger match ever not associated with the Four Horsemen. This could have easily been a situation where Luger squashed Pillman but instead we see both men giving and taking. Easy nomination. Road Warriors Interview Road Warriors vs. The Skyscrapers - Fuck, Sid was over. But damn, these guys are botching moves left and right. Sting, Ric Flair & Ole Anderson Interview Great Muta & Terry Funk vs. Sting & Ric Flair (Thunderdome Cage) - I don't know. The cage looks like the precursor tothe Hell in a Cell but none of these guys look like they want to be there. In a way, I think this match woul have woked better as just a straight tag or maybe a Texas Tornado. You get the feeling that they feel obligated to use the cage but nothing they do with the cage actually that interesting. Part of me thinks we should include it to see how people vote on it. Still, I really don't care for this match even though I like the guys involved.
