World Wide Wrestling 4/19/86

This starts with a promo from Valiant who is highly pissed about Shaska cutting his hair.

"Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez, Chief Wahoo McDaniel, & Hector Guerrero vs. Black Bart, Leo Burke, & Thunderfoot (4/15/86)

Interesting match here for WWW and the faces just steamroll these guys with quick tags and high impact offense. It would finally break down into a 6-way brawl before Bull caught Thunderfoot with the Flying Burrito to win. Impressive squash match.

Jimmy Garvin & Precious are out next talking about Wahoo of course and they show clips of Garvin dropping Wahoo with a Brainbuster but he said that he didn't try to hurt him yet.

Next we get taped promos from Tully, Jones, Baron, & Whatley.

Bull joins David Crockett next talking about Shaska turning on Valiant and how he has betrayed the brotherhood. Paul Jones shows up with a briefcase and tries to recruit him saying he needs him. Bull said he didn't sell out in Vietnam and he ain't now....well at least for the moment. This is a definite extra.

Sam Houston & Nelson Royal vs. Gene Ligon & George South (4/15/86)

Sam & Nelson look good here especially Sam who was starting to come into his own.

The Russians are out next for a promo talking about Magnum & Roadies and their vendetta against them with clips from MACW where they destroyed Magnum and he was helped out of the area.

"Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Vernon Deaton (4/15/86)

This is a quick squash.

Coltrane & Bull are out next talking about their issues with Whatley.

Baron Von Raschke & Shaska Whatley vs. Denny Brown & Rocky Kernodle (4/15/86)

The faces put up a small fight but the heels overpower them.

Wahoo is out next for a promo on Garvin talking about when he turned heel and how he has regretted that for over a year and he isn't going to let Garvin get him down again.

Championship Wrestling 4/19/85

Ric Flair is out for a promo talking about the Crockett Cup taking place later on in the day and how he is going to come out the champ.

Thunderfoot vs. Larry Clarke (4/12/86)

Good seeing Thunderfoot getting a spotlight squash match and he wins with the loaded boot.

Ivan & Nikita are out next for a promo on getting a Russian Chain Match with Magnum then talk about winning the Crockett Cup.

Leo Burke vs. Paul Garner (4/12/86)

Garner has no chance here.

Paul Jones and his army are out next for a group promo about their war on Valiant saying that he is a coward.

"Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. Kent Glover (4/12/86)

Tully shows up saying that he has an injunction from his lawyer saying that Garvin must take the tape off of his hand. Garvin doesn't do it and then kills Garner.

Cornette is out next talking about the Crockett Cup and he is on fire ripping on the Roadies.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Randy Mulkey & Lee Peak (4/12/86)

MX just clown these guys.

Sam Houston & Nelson Royal are out next for a promo about the Crockett Cup and how they are going to surprise people.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Bill Tabb (4/12/86)

Garvin almost kills Tabb with his Brainbuster and then he cuts a promo with Precious afterwards about Wahoo.

Roadies & Ellering are out next talking about the Crockett Cup and what Cornette said with Animal saying that Flair isn't Space Mountain but It's A Small World After All.

Shaska Whatley vs. Ray Traylor (4/12/86)

Shaska just destroys Traylor.

Ronnie & Magnum are out next talking about the Crockett Cup and Tully wanting Garvin to remove the tape from his fist.

World Championship Wrestling 4/19/86

This starts off with Flair talking about his match with Dusty later that night in New Orleans on the Crockett Cup show. Flair is fantastic here saying that he don't do no jobs for 70,000 people!!!!!!!! Slam dunk extra.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Bill Tabb & Ray Traylor (4/13/86)

Roadies just destroy the big men.

Dusty & Baby Doll are out next talking about Flair and Dusty said that he don't do jobs in front of 70,000 people either....Slam dunk extra yet again.

Valiant is out next for his first promo on TBS since Shaska Whatley turned on him. Valiant calls Shaska an "Uncle Tom" This is good stuff.

Nighthawk Coltrane vs. Gene Ligon (4/13/86)

Nighthawk lasted a month after getting a minor push.

RnR are out next for a promo talking about their chances of winning the Crockett Cup in their old home grounds.

Chief Wahoo McDaniel vs. Vernon Deaton (4/13/86)

Wahoo takes care of Deaton easily.

Shaska & Jones are out next yelling about Valiant.

Dillon is out next talking about Tully's battles with Ronnie Garvin.

Magnum TA vs. Paul Garner (4/13/86)

Squash.

Precious Paul is out next talking about the Crockett Cup and how the Roadies will win it.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. George South (4/13/86)

Easy win for Garvin.

Bull is out next talking about his match with Arn on TV later that day.

Gorgeous Jimmy then comes out next talking about how he is tired of Wahoo and wants new challengers.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff vs. Tony Zane (4/13/86)

Ivan takes care of the future Mr. Atlanta very easily.

The Koloffs then cut a promo on Magnum afterwards with Ivan talking about how Americans love to smoke and how they will die of cancer.

NWA World TV Title: Arn Anderson © vs. "Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez (4/13/86)

It was a year and two weeks since Arn & Bull met on the first ever episode of JCP on TBS and this was the resumption of their great feud. Dusty is on commentary here with Tony & David as well. There is some good back and forth action to start with Manny keying on both the arm and the leg. Bull is especially ruthless working over Arn's left leg but Arn would throw Manny high in the air as he tried a cross body block and that gave him the chance to finally go on an extended offense. Bull fought back though and hit his Flying Burrito but Arn got his foot on the rope right as the bell rang for the 20:00 draw. Tully then jumped Bull as Dillon was arguing with Dusty then Garvin came out and KOed Arn with his bad hand. This was a very good match and a low-end nomination.

Corny cuts a promo next about the MX and winning the Crockett Cup but first opens saying this is the greatest day of his life like Jimmy Hart would say. Corny also rips America's Team getting that feud ready.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Bob Pearson & Art Pritts (4/13/86)

Total squash and MX may be the best workers ever in squash matches.

Tully & Dillon are out next talking about their issues with Garvin & Dusty.

Championship Wrestling 4/26/86

This starts off with Tully & Dillon talking about their legal battles over Garvin taping his hand.

"Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Ray Traylor (4/13/86)

Valiant wins easily.

Tully Blanchard vs. Randy Mulkey (4/13/86)

Tully destroys Mulkey before putting him away with the Slingshot Suplex. Tully taking his tape off during the match was a nice touch.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Bob Owens & Ron Rossi (4/13/86)

Cornette burying Rossi on commentary was the highlight of this squash.

The Best of NWA Wrestling 4/26/86

This aired on regional sports networks and this was the first I've heard of this show. Tony & David are doing wraparounds from the JCP TV studios.

Hector Guerrero vs. George South (4/21/86)

Hector coming out to Pancho & Lefty by Willie Nelson & Merle Haggard was awesome. South gives Hector a fight but falls in the end.

Dusty & Baby Doll are out next with Dusty wearing some fucking awesome mid 80's shades and he talks about how Baby Doll saw Cornettet & MX trying on women's clothes as now this feud has started.

Ronnie Garvin is out next talking about his hand injury and how it's getting better but he still wants Tully & Flair.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff vs. Todd Bradford (4/21/86)

Bradford would become Todd Champion and he was green as grass here but the women were screaming for him. It didn't help as Ivan took care of him but you could tell that they had plans for Todd as he got some shine before losing.

Arn Anderson is out next for a promo where they talk about how the Horsemen attacked Ricky Morton and injured his face.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Rocky Kernodle (4/21/86)

Precious isn't here and David Crockett explains that she is out shopping. Garvin just nukes Rocky with the Brainbuster.

Dillon is out next talking about how Tully & Garvin dropped Wahoo with a Brainbuster on the floor.

Ronnie Garvin is out next and he said that this Horsemen beatdown nonsense will end soon you can bank on it. Then we get video of the Horsemen rubbing Morton's face on the concrete which of course is a definite extra.

Flair is out next and David gives him shit about injuring Morton saying that he was jealous of him. Flair then calls Garvin a whiner and that the world needs heroes like the Horsmen & Ronald Reagan. Flair then rips on Morton more and this is a definite extra.

Next we get clips of Crockett Cup 86 set to Frank Stallone of course.

"Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. Golden Terror (4/21/86)

Garvin KOed Terror but he hurt his hand in the process.

RnR come out next for a promo with Morton's face all bandaged up from the beatdown and he cuts a great promo vowing revenge. Definite extra.

Wahoo is out next talking about Garvin and he wants a match with him any time he can get it.

Robert Gibson vs. Ron Rossi (4/21/86)

Morton is at ringside as Gibson hits a reverse neckbreaker to win in seconds.

Then we get a promo from Garvin & Precious about giving Wahoo the Brainbuster on the floor.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Vernon Deaton & Mike Simani (4/21/86)

The MX are pissed about not winning the Crockett Cup and they take it out on these jobbers. Cornette then yells about wanting Dusty to come out which he does and this leads to Dusty attacking the MX & Cornette. Baby Doll jumps in and Eaton catches her with an elbow then hits Dusty with the racquet and Cornette then hits her in the stomach with the racquet which sends everyone running to the ring. This was sold as a death shot and then Crockett yells at Cornette before walking off. Cornette then cuts a great promo and this is a slam dunk extra.

Championship Wrestling 5/3/86

Cornette opens the show talking about how Baby Doll should've never been in the ring to begin with and deserved what she got.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Lee Peak (4/26/86)

Another easy win for Garvin.

Then we get the America's Team promo from the 4/26/86 WCW and this was good stuff.

Flair is out next saying that if he was a woman over 18 and had a chance at him he would be besides himself. Flair then talks shit on Dusty & Morton.

Ivan & Nikita Koloff vs. Jerry Garmon & BoB Owens (4/26/86)

Total squash but Owens kicking Nikita in the back was hilarious as Nikita just killed him.

The Roadies are out next talking about winning the Crockett Cup and how they want the NWA World Tag Titles and the NWA World Six-Man Tag Titles.

"Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez & "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Larry Clarke & Kent Glover (4/26/86)

The faces have no problems here.

Arn is out next for a promo where he said that Baby Doll should've stayed in bed where she belonged then called out all of his potential challengers telling them to bring it.

Shaska Whatley vs. Randy Mulkey (4/26/86)

Mulkey gets manhandled here and gets some of his hair cut afterwards. Jones & Shaska cut a promo afterwards promising more hair would be cut.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Paul Garner & Art Pritts (4/26/86)

This revolved around MX wanting a high-5 from David Crockett to end the punishment which he wouldn't do so the punishment continued.

Ivan & Nikita are out next talking about Baby Doll got what she deserved but Magnum better not forget about Nikita.

Ronnie Garvin is out next talking about his taped fist and that payback is coming for Tully.

Chief Wahoo McDaniel vs. Jeff Smith (4/26/86)

Quick squash.

Tully & Dillon are out next talking about Garvin and how Garvin will never beat him for the National Title.

World Championship Wrestling 5/3/86

Jim Crockett comes out that America's Team wants a NWA World Tag Titles shot on TV against the MX but Corny refuses to sign it.

The Barbarian, Baron Von Raschke, & Shaska Whatley vs. Rocky King, Bill Mulkey, & Lee Peek (5/3/86)

That's quite the jobber team.

Baby Doll makes her return with a promo about what happened to her and how Dusty Rhodes saved her from Tully as well as her career before she turns to Cornette and how revenge is coming. This is a great promo and extra material.

Next we get a RnR squash from 10/8/85.

Corny comes out next talking shit on Baby Doll and America's Team saying they must prove themselves before he gives them any shot against the MX.

The James Boys (Frank & Jesse) vs. The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) (5/3/86)

You knew something was up when the MX's opponents weren't in the ring and then Hank Jr.'s version of Midnight Rider comes blaring over the speakers with the James Boys to follow and Corny immediately knew something was going on. The James Boys dominate the early portion of the match and this is worked like an MX squash match but in reverse. The MX though would make a comeback and worked over Jesse (Magnum) and this was really good because the fans were into this heavily plus MX were so fluid as a team doubling up on Jesse. The James Boys would make a comeback and we would get stereo belly-to-belly suplexes to end the match. The whole presentation here was so damn great and the match was very good as well. Solid nomination.

We get a promo from The James Boys afterwards.

Next we get a promo from the Paul Jones Army about Valiant.

"Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. David Dillenger (5/3/86)

Garvin takes his tape off again this time revealing a purple hand which was really fake looking. Garvin again kills this guy.

Corny then comes out all kinds of pissed about what happened earlier and demanded Jim Crockett come out to reverse the decision.

"Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs. Tony Zane (5/3/86)

Flair schools the future Mr. Atlanta here while Corny is back out whining again. Flair then asks Corny to be in his corner and this is the only time that ever happened. Imagine Flair & Corny as a permanent team.

Arn & Flair then cut a promo next about how they love rich men and expensive toys with Flair also saying that women want men that can control them. Extra material.

Garvin & Precious then cuts a promo on Baby Doll then Wahoo with Corny agreeing with everything he said.

Chief Wahoo McDaniel vs. Bob Owens (5/3/86)

Squash with Corny going on a long rant about Wahoo.

Next we get a promo from Tully & Dillon about Dusty & Ronnie Garvin with clips of Dusty helping Garvin in a match against Tully from WWW.

NWA World TV Title: Arn Anderson © vs. Randy Mulkey (5/3/86)

Arn destroys Mulkey as Corny continues to whine about Dusty with Arn saying that Mulkey's destruction is Dusty's fault.

Jim Crockett finally shows up and said that he was getting a manicure that's why it took him so long and Jim tells him that it was the James Boys not Dusty & Magnum he lost to...Corny about loses his mind. Extra material.

America's Team finally show up after Corny leaves and saying that they just got to the studio and they can't find Baby Doll as she left with the James Boys.

Ivan & Nikita Koloff vs. Brodie Chase & Mike Simani (5/3/86)

Koloffs take this very easily and cut a promo on America's Team afterwards.

The show then closes with clips of the James Boys/MX and a promo from Ronnie Garvin.
