Posted December 9, 200717 yr comment_5424980 Arn Anderson vs. Manny Fernandez (TV Title) (16:52)- Manny Fernandez is like the Mr. Olympia of this set. There just needs to be more footage of him available. Early on, Arn channels Larry Z. and stalls trying to kill time everytime Manny gets the upper hand in the ring. Manny goes to town on Arn's leg in the middle of the match, maybe in an attempt to ground him and keep him from stalling? Time limit draw ends the match but it was good enough to go on the block.(NWA 4/19 - 5/3/86 Disc 2)
August 21, 201411 yr comment_5620691 A solid nomination. I love how Arn eats Manny's offense and would take a powder to extend the time . Manny just destroys Arn's leg. He really was great at it and the stuff looked painful. Arn sold the limb spot on. Arn's transition was well executed. I also liked how Arn was always looking at the time . Finish was perfection for a t.v time limit. On top of it we had a nice post match.
October 6, 201410 yr comment_5631523 NWA World TV Title: Arn Anderson © vs. "Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez (4/13/86) It was a year and two weeks since Arn & Bull met on the first ever episode of JCP on TBS and this was the resumption of their great feud. Dusty is on commentary here with Tony & David as well. There is some good back and forth action to start with Manny keying on both the arm and the leg. Bull is especially ruthless working over Arn's left leg but Arn would throw Manny high in the air as he tried a cross body block and that gave him the chance to finally go on an extended offense. Bull fought back though and hit his Flying Burrito but Arn got his foot on the rope right as the bell rang for the 20:00 draw. Tully then jumped Bull as Dillon was arguing with Dusty then Garvin came out and KOed Arn with his bad hand. This was a very good match and a low-end nomination.
