NWA Pro Wrestling 6/14/86

This starts with Ric Flair coming out talking about the Bash and being the champion.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Gene Ligon & George South (6/10/86)

RnR toy around with Ligon & South before putting them away.

The Warlord vs. Bill Mulkey (6/10/86)

Warlord kills Mulkey.

Magnum is out next for another spirited promo about being stripped of his title. Extra material.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin & "Mr. Electricity" Steve Regal vs. Denny Brown & Sam Houston (6/10/86)

Sam's push sure has been downsized lately and it makes me wonder if this was the time he was starting to hook up with Baby Doll. Garvin & Regal use a double clothesline to beat Houston in less than a minute.

Magnum TA vs. Mark Fleming (6/10/86)

Magnum gets a Belly-To-Belly in seconds to win.

Tully & Dillon are out next for a promo about the taped fist matches coming up on the Bash tour.

The Barbarian, Baron Von Raschke, & Shaska Whatley vs. Italian Stallion, Rocky Kernodle, & Rocky King (6/10/86)

Shaska is pissed because he got some of his hair cut and they destroy these guys until Manny, Hector, Ronnie & Valiant run out to attack them and Valiant cuts some more of Shaska's hair. Extra material.

Dusty & Baby Doll are out next for a promo about Ole's return and Dusty was so good here talking about balancing between being an angel or a devil. Extra material.

Chief Wahoo McDaniel vs. Vernon Deaton (6/10/86)

Poor Vernon has been getting his ass kicked by Wahoo a lot lately.

Next we get promos from Valiant, Baby Doll, RnR, & Magnum for the 7/1 show in Philly.

The Russians are out next highly upset about Nikita not having the US Title but they will get it at the Best of 7.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Todd Champion & Don Kernodle (6/10/86)

Kernodle sure has fallen down the ranks but he gets some shine early on. Champion comes in and that's when the MX take over and he eats the Rocket Launcher to end the match.

Bull & Valiant come out next for a promo gloating about what they did earlier to Shaska.

Championship Wrestling 6/14/86

Baby Doll starts the show cutting a promo on Cornette and she said that she would take care of him at the Bash.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Randy Mulkey (6/7/86)

Garvin wins easily.

Magnum comes out next for yet another fiery promo and it's extra material.

Flair then comes out and praises his fans wearing suits before talking about how great he is.

"Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff vs. Jim Dawson (6/7/86)

Standard Nikita squash.

Arn, Tully, & Dillon are out next for a promo talking about the upcoming Bash and Arn warns Dusty that his friends may be turning on him soon....interesting.

Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard vs. Todd Champion & Italian Stallion (6/7/86)

Arn & Tully are like a machine here.

"Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. Bill Mulkey (6/7/86)

Funny that the Garvin's worked the Mulkey's here. Dillon does commentary for the match and said that Garvin should be nervous about the taped fist matches coming up. This is just a mauling before Garvin moves the desk out of the way and threatens Dillon saying that he makes it a point to not hit women on the air which brings out Arn & Tully. Garvin is double-teamed and dropped with the spiked Gourdbuster then Tully throws some shots with his taped fist. Extra material.

Bull comes out next talking about cutting the hair of Shaska and said more is coming. Valiant then joins in on the fun.

Magnum TA vs. Tony Zane (6/7/86)

Zane is put away in seconds.

Cornette & Bubba are out next talking about Baby Doll & The James Boys saying that they will be suspended soon once they get their masks ripped off.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Randy Barber & George South (6/7/86)

RnR looks strong here and then cut a promo afterwards about coming for the Horsemen.

World Championship Wrestling 6/14/86

Valiant starts the show saying that no one can hide now as the war is stronger than ever and someone will be a bald headed geek.

The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Ole & Arn Anderson) vs. Pablo Crenshaw & Lee Peak (6/14/86)

This is Ole's first TV match in over 6 1/2 months and they punish these poor guys. Then we get a promo afterwards with Ole being extra sadistic and they show clips of a match with the RnR against Arn & Flair where Ole & Tully join in on the fun which brings out Dusty where they try to injure his ear. Ole then said that he guarantees Dusty will retire in 1986 and that he would buy everyone a beer in honor of that. Extra material.

Tully Blanchard vs. Kent Glover (6/14/86)

Tully easily takes care of Glover.

Ivan & Nikita Koloff, & Krusher Khruschev vs. Italian Stallion, Rocky King, & George South (6/14/86)

This is just a murder session on poor Rocky until Stallion got the tag in and he got an Airplane Spin on Ivan which popped the crowd but that was all he got and the domination restarted.

Baby Doll is out next for a promo talking about how she can beat Cornette because he isn't a man which brings out Cornette & Bubba with Cornette just ripping her up. Magnum then shows up to even the odds and Cornette & Bubba walk off.

The Russians are out next for a promo on Magnum and wanting their 6-Man Titles back because Krusher is back and better than ever. We also get clips of how Krusher tore his ACL landing wrong on a Russian Sickle attempt off the top rope which he blamed on Roadies who weren't even in the match.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Larry Clarke & Art Pritts (6/14/86)

RnR work a lot of holds here and this is a longer squash match for them until Morton drops Clarke with the DDT and then a Double Dropkick.

Ivan comes out next and calls Jim Crockett a coward for booking the Best of 7 for the US Title saying that Nikita should be the rightful champion. Ivan then steals the belt from Crockett which brings out Magnum who takes it from him and bashes him over the head then gives the belt back to Crockett. Definite extra.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Tony Zane (6/14/86)

Garvin nearly loses Zane with the Brainbuster and after the match he talks about his upcoming Indian Strap matches against Wahoo on the Bash tour.

World Wide Wrestling 6/21/86

Flair comes out to start the show talking about the Bash tour and how the Horsemen are going to reign supreme. Flair said that he is going to be the champion forever.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Golden Terror & Thunderfoot (6/17/86)

Thunderfoot looking like The Flash here is pretty awesome and the fans are absolutely nuts for the RnR as they squash the masked men.

Magnum is out next talking about the upcoming Best of 7 series and giving the US Title back to Jim Crockett where he said that he had to do the right thing but he would be getting his belt back soon enough. Magnum again is fired up and this is extra material.

RnR then cut a promo about the Bashes coming up and their battles with Flair & the rest of the Horsemen as well as getting their belts back from the MX.

The Warlord vs. Vernon Deaton (6/17/86)

Deaton dies hard here.

Tully & Dillon are out next and they are doing a Carnac tribute routine here making fun of Ronnie Garvin. Extra material.

"Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. Mark Fleming (6/17/86)

Fleming has an amateur wrestling background so Garvin felt like being Mr. Torture tonight and stretched him a little bit before just beating the piss out of him.

RnR then come back out talking about the Bashes and how they want the Andersons.

Ivan Koloff & Krusher Khruschev vs. Bill Mulkey & Tony Zane (6/17/86)

Total destruction.

Dusty & Baby Doll are out next and Dusty talks about the American Dream and how he has made his mentor TC Lee happy. Extra material.

Jim Cornette is out next talking about workouts with Richard Simmons in California and how they had some rough physical activity with each other then said that he was going to share his workout secrets in the ring. Bubba is there with a water bucket and Cornette is awesome here doing pushups with his knees on the mat then some jumping jacks which were terrible. Cornette then tries to do some situps which fails before turning his attention to Randy Mulkey where he plans on showing his wrestling skill. Mulkey turns around and eats a Belly-To-Belly Suplex by Baby Doll before Bubba tosses her down. Dusty then brings in a wooden chair which he breaks over Bubba's head then Bubba takes his tie off and is ready to fight before Magnum runs out with shovels and Bubba soon leaves. Cornette tells David Crockett that Baby Doll has been taking male hormones and is a man. Slam dunk extra.

Paul Jones and his army are out next for a promo talking about the upcoming hair matches at the Bash. Jones gets so pissed when they show the picture of him bald and it's hilarious.

Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, & "Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs. Todd Champion, Italian Stallion, & Rocky Kernodle (6/17/86)

I loved the Horsemen TV 6-mans so much..they were squash matches but so fun.

Next we get promos from Baby Doll, RnR, & Magnum for the 7/1 show in Philly.

Ivan & Krusher are out next for a promo talking about getting their 6-Man Tag Titles back at the Bash.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. George South (6/17/86)

South didn't last long here before eating a Brainbuster.

Cornette & Bubba are back with Crockett showing clips of the Baby Doll angle where Cornette keeps calling Baby Doll a man. Extra material.

World Championship Wrestling 6/21/86

The Koloffs start the show talking about the Bash and how they are going to crush everyone.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Ray Aaron & Mike Simani (6/21/86)

This ends in seconds.

The Four Horsemen are out in full next with Dillon for a promo warning everyone that they are going to hurt people at the Bash.

Dusty then cuts a taped promo from Techwood Studios before the show was taped talking about the Bash and how great the tour will be before saying that his issue with Ole Anderson must end soon or one of them will be ended.

"Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez & "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Clement Fields & Pat Myers (6/21/86)

Another quick squash.

Cornette & Bubba then came out next where Cornette pulled out this huge dress saying that it's Baby Doll's and that Tony should give it to his wife. This is followed by clips of the Cornette workout from WWW.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Sam Houston & Rocky Kernodle (6/21/86)

The faces jump the MX early but that was a mistake as they destroy Kernodle before Houston could even get his chaps off.

Baby Doll is out next talking about the dress that Cornette had saying that she would never wear that thing. She then said that she has her boys watching her back which brings out Magnum who talks about the Best of 7 series and he said again he is getting his title back.

Wahoo then comes out and talks about his Indian Strap matches against Garvin at the Bash.

"Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. Vernon Deaton (6/21/86)

No playing around from Garvin here just a quick KO.

Flair then comes back out and says that he wrestles on TV unlike Dusty Rhodes who wants to charge $50 then he talks about all his defenses at the Bash.

The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Ole & Arn Anderson) vs. Bill & Randy Mulkey (6/21/86)

Andersons are dominant here.

Garvin, Regal, & Precious are out next talking about Wahoo's comments earlier and how he isn't scared of him.

"Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs. Tony Zane (6/21/86)

Flair is getting ready to wrestle when Iron Man hits and all of a sudden Road Warrior Hawk shows up. Flair brings Hawk into the ring and Hawk just dominates Flair picking him up over his head and threw him on Arn & Tully who just barely caught him. Ole then jumped him from behind and it becomes a 4-on-1 beatdown until Animal & Ellering show up. Dillon KO's Ellering with his shoe then they post Animal and stuff piledrive him on the floor. Hawk then eats a double spiked Gourdbuster and Flair finally slaps Hawk in the face a couple of times before celebrating. Hawk would recover enough to cut a promo and he said they should've finished the job. This is a tremendous angle and a slam dunk extra.

World Wide Wrestling 6/28/86

Cornette & Bubba are out with Tony & David and Cornette is the special co-host this week sitting in his wicker chair wearing his summer clothes. This is awesome.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Bill Mulkey & George South (6/23/86)

MX just play with these guys until Condrey kills him.

Cornette then interviews Paul Jones and his army and they show the bald Jones picture which pisses everyone off. Hilarious and extra material.

Garvin, Regal, & Precious are out next talking about Wahoo and how it's unfair he has to face him in Indian Strap matches. Precious kisses Cornette and said that he is going to get rid of Baby Doll.

"Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin & Chief Wahoo McDaniel vs. Brodie Chase & Mark Fleming (6/23/86)

This is the Stiff Dream Team and they just kill these guys in what was a borderline assault.

Cornette then interviewed the Russians next where Ivan talks about Nikita went to a party that Flair threw and he drank him under the table then stole all the women. Hilarious.

Black Bart vs. Mike Simani (6/23/86)

Bart's been gone for a while but he's back and he beats Simani down.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Ben Alexander & Ron Rossi (6/23/86)

Here is another destruction.

Ole, Arn, Tully, & Dillon are out next talking about how they beat down the Roadies on WCW the week before and that Dusty is getting it next.

Dusty & Baby Doll then follow that up with Dusty saying that everything the Horsemen has been dishing out will come back to them even worse especially Ole. Dusty then grabs Cornette's lemonade and talks about how his buddy Tyrone said that Bubba was indestructible so he put his hand in Cornette's lemonade to stir it up.

"Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez & "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Randy Mulkey & Tony Zane (6/23/86)

This doesn't take long of course.

The Roadies & Ellering are out next highly pissed about what the Horsemen did to them on WCW and they talk about how Flair isn't there and he is scared of them.

Magnum is out next and reminds Flair that he has a match with him at the Bash even though he is fully focused on Nikita.

Ole Anderson vs. Todd Champion (6/23/86)

This is a learning session for Champion indeed as Ole starts pounding on him but Champion fires back with some quick forearms which only pisses off Ole who comes off the top with the knee to the shoulder to win.

Then we get promos from Ellering, Roadies, & Magnum about the 7/1 show in Philly.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin & "Mr. Electricity" Steve Regal vs. Sam Houston & Rocky King (6/23/86)

Garvin hits the Brainbuster on King while still wearing his sparkling jacket.

RnR come out next for a promo where Cornette & Bubba are standing there but the RnR don't want any trouble and it ends in an argument of course.

Championship Wrestling 6/28/86

This starts with Tully & Dillon gloating about the beatdown of the Road Warriors last week and they warn Garvin about the taped fist matches coming up.

"Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez & "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Bill & Randy Mulkey (6/21/86)

This doesn't take long.

Paul Ellering is out next talking about the Horsemen beatdown and he says that what doesn't kill them will make them stronger.

Flair is out next for a promo on Hawk and he is more serious here talking about how the Horsemen are dominating wrestling.

Magnum TA vs. Vernon Deaton (6/21/86)

Deaton had no chance of course and loses in seconds.

Ronnie Garvin & Wahoo are out next for a promo talking about their Indian Strap and Taped Fist matches coming up at the Bash. Wahoo also sent a stern warning to Flair as well saying he's beat him more than anyone else.

The Warlord vs. Alan Martin (6/21/86)

This is Warlord's TBS debut and he just dominates Martin.

Cornette & Bubba come out next where he whines yet again wanting Baby Doll tested for male hormones. Cornette then brings out an Atlanta phonebook and he tries to tear it apart and he did tear the cover. Hilarious.

Tully Blanchard vs. Butch Cooper (6/21/86)

No handshakes here from Tully as he just mauls this guy then KO's him with a taped fist.

Denny Brown is out next for a rare promo talking about his upcoming title matches on the Bash tour especially against Steve Regal.

Dusty & Baby Doll are out next talking about the Bash tour is coming this week and how everyone is ready for battle. Dusty then talked about how great K-Mart is because Flair was getting K-Mart chants. Baby Doll then rips on Cornette.

The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Ole & Arn Anderson) vs. Pablo Crenshaw & Bill Tabb (6/21/86)

The Andersons just punish these guys the Anderson way.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin & "Mr. Electricity" Steve Regal vs. Ray Aaron & Pat Myers (6/21/86)

Garvin again works this match wearing his sparkly jacket but Regal does most of the work as Garvin just hangs around before using the Brainbuster to win.

RnR Express are out next for a promo talking about the Bash and how they are coming home to Memphis.

Paul Jones and his army are out next for a promo and they are sick and tired of Valiant so they promise to end him at the Bash.

The Barbarian, Baron Vnon Raschke & Shaska Whatley vs. Randy Barber, Mike Simani, & David Spencer (6/21/86)

Total squash.

The Koloffs are out next for a promo talking about their upcoming matches at the Bash.

World Wide Wrestling 7/5/86

The Rock n Roll Express vs. Golden Terror & George South (6/24/86)

RnR win in seconds.

Cornette & Bubba are out guest hosting again and they interview Garvin & Precious and man is Cornette's attire hilarious.

The Warlord vs. Mark Fleming (6/24/86)

Another quick and easy win for the Warlord.

America's Team are out next for a promo and Dusty wants to know where Cornette went. They talk about how they want those NWA World Tag Titles and that Big Bubba won't stop them.

The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Ole & Arn Anderson) vs. Don & Rocky Kernodle (6/24/86)

This is a family affair but only one was a real family. Kernodles put up a good fight as Don tries to save his brother from double-teams every time. The Kernodle's also use the Andersons playbook because they work over the left arm of both men. Rocky would get Arn in a sleeper and Ole would come off the top allowing Arn to cover to win. This was a very competitive match and one of the better WWW matches this year but not enough for a nomination.

Next we get promos from the Russians & Cornette for the 8/2 show in Atlanta.

Cornette sitting in his wicker chair then talks about taking care of Baby Doll once and for all on the Bash tour.

The Road Warriors vs. Gene Ligon & Mike Simani (6/24/86)

This was a quick destruction.

Cornette again sitting in his wicker chair talks about Flair's run of defenses at the Bash and we get a taped promo from Flair at an empty Techwood Studios talking about how he will be champ forever.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Todd Champion & Nelson Royal (6/24/86)

The faces put up a fight but the MX are just too good and they take advantage of the green Champion to win.

Roadies & Ellering are out for a promo next so Cornette has dipped out again and they vow to win the NWA World Tag Titles and even the NWA World Heavyweight Title at the Bash.

"Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff vs. Tony Zane (6/24/86)

Russian Sickle, Cobra Clutch, and goodnight.

Then we get promos from RnR & Magnum for the 8/2 show in Atlanta.

Cornette interviews the Russians next and they talk about winning some titles at the Bash.

The Barbarian & Baron Von Raschke vs. Bill & Randy Mulkey (6/24/86)

Mulkey Mania was coined by Cornette here maybe for the first time and they get destroyed.

Cornette again does more commentary from his wicker chair where he promises that he will talk to his mother live on the air next week. Then he rips on Baby Doll yet again to close the show.

Championship Wrestling 7/5/86

Morton starts the show by talking about his cage match with Flair that night in Charlotte.

Chief Wahoo McDaniel vs. Pablo Crenshaw (6/28/86)

Wahoo methodically picks apart Crenshaw.

Flair is out next talking about his cage match with Morton in Charlotte that night and his other matches at the Bashes. Good stuff.

Bull comes out next talking about Shaska Whatley being shaved bald that night in Charlotte. Valiant follows up and he is pumped for shaving Shaska's head.

Ivan & Nikita Koloff vs. Bill & Randy Mulkey (6/28/86)

Mulkey Mania takes another hit here and get destroyed.

The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Ole & Arn Anderson) vs. Pat Myers & Mike Simani (6/28/86)

The armwork here is brutal as expected.

Baby Doll is out next talking about Cornette & Bubba and how she is going to tear Cornette up in Charlotte that night.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Randy Barber & Butch Cooper (6/28/86)

RnR take care of business easily here.

Tully & Dillon are out next talking about the Charlotte show and the Taped Fist match with Garvin and how Tully is going to come out on top.

America's Team is out next talking about their match against the MX in the cage in Charlotte that night.

The Warlord vs. Vernon Deaton (6/28/86)

Deaton dies again in a squash match.

Ole & Arn are out next for a promo talking about Dusty and how he should be on watch at all times.

Cornette & Bubba come back out where he says that Baby Doll is a failure at being a woman and she only has one great skill which was laying down. Cornette brings out a Hungry Man dinner saying that Baby Doll only knows how to cook those....this is a tremendous promo. Extra material.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Alan Martin & David Spencer (6/28/86)

MX rip these guys up as Cornette continued to rip up Baby Doll on commentary.

Ivan & Nikita then cut a promo to close the show about how Nikita is going to get the US Title at the Bash.
