Harley Race vs. Dusty Rhodes (Title change clip) - I think I have a better copy of this but this showed almost 9 minutes of the match. Tommy Rich vs. Ken Patera (VTR Recap) Bruiser Brody vs. Blackjack Mulligan (VTR Recap) Freebirds Break Up (EXTRA) Terry Gordy & Jimmy Snuka vs. Ted Dibiase & Steve O (Georgia 7/81) - If we wanted to include a match from the Gordy-Snuka duo, this would be the one. Good back and forth action but Snuka is no Buddy Roberts. HOwever, he takes a great bump as he is going up for the Superfly Splash but gets pushed off by Michael Hayes who brawls with Gordy. Low level nomination for the match but the post-match with Hayes and Gordy is fun. Tommy Rich- Snuka & Gordy - Michael Hayes Confrontation (EXTRA) Michael Hayes vs. El Toro (Match ends with Gordy & Snuka attacking Hayes) Jimmy Snuka vs. Kevin Von Erich - This match was given some time but it just wasn't that good. Again, it ends with a brawl between Hayes & Gordy. No vote. Gordy & Snuka vs. Andre & Hayes (VTR Recap) Michael Hayes vs. Ken Timbs (JIP) - During the match Austin Idol attacks under a mask but gets unmasked by Hayes. Idol & Gordy beat down Hayes. Masked Superstar & S. I don't know if there are better Sawyer-Rich matches out there though since the feud was so famous. It either needs to be on a set for historical significance or EXTRAS. Disc 2 Bob Armstrong & Jimmy Garvin vs. Kevin Sullivan & French Angel (clip) - Huge brawl breaks out Gary Hart & Kabuki Interview Great Kabuki demonstration w/ Tommy Rogers (EXTRA) Roddy Piper w/ Monkey doll... interrupted by Kevin Sullivan Big Brawl Clip (Recap) (EXTRA) Leroy Brown vs. Rick Harris (Black Bart) - Masked Superstar interferes but Brown still squashes Bart. Piper & Ole vs. Tommy Rich & George Steele Confrontation Above Confrontation Recap Michael Hayes vs. Bill White - Short match but Piper is at ringside interfering. Piper trips Hayes up so White pins him. Hayes puts his foot on the ropes but Piper knocks it off allowing for the upset. This leads to a pull-apart brawl. Ric Flair-Leroy Brown confrontation (Arm wrestling 1) (EXTRA) Kevin Sullivan vs. Buzz Sawyer - Pretty good match that ends witha Masked Superstar interference. Tommy Rich Interview (Ole & Piper vs. Dusty & Rich VTR) Tommy Rich - Roddy Piper Confrontation Ric Flair vs. Leroy Brown (Arm wrestling 2) (EXTRA) Kevin Sullivan & Bob Armstrong vs. John Studd & Super Destroyer - The little guys get the upset with a top rope sunset flip on the Super Destroyer Buzz Sawyer - Tommy Rich Brawl (EXTRA) Ric Flair-Leroy Brown confrontation (Arm wrestling 3) (EXTRA) Freebirds reunited (EXTRA) Buzz Sawyer vs. Paul Orndorff - Pretty good TV match. I wish these 2 had more time. Buzz Sawyer vs. Mr. Wrestling 2 - More of an angle to allow Masked Superstar to tear up II's robe. Ric Flair vs. Harley Race (Japan 7/82) - This has Japanese commentary. I am not going to nominate it until I find out where the match took place and under what circumstances. Ivan Koloff vs. Butch Reed - I really liked the way this match was going but Super Destroyer and Buzz Sawyer ambush Reed to end the match.
