I actually like the TV matches better because you get to see all of the small details that make him great. If you like Larry Z. then you should enjoy this match. Nomination. (Lynch Georgia 4.1)
June 11, 200817 yr comment_5432158 #1 Contender Tournament for the NWA World Heavyweight Title – Quarterfinals: “Hands of Stone” Ronnie Garvin vs. Larry Zbyszko (3/10/84) Zbyszko makes his return to TBS after 6 months and he stalls his ass off for the early part of the match. Garvin would get the advantage though but not for long as Zbyszko starts pounding on him. Garvin would get a cut over his eye and started firing shots on Zbyszko before he would go to the floor to stall some more. Zbyszko comes back in and starts working on the eye weakening Garvin but Ronnie would fight back and would beat on Zbyszko until the bell rang for the time limit draw. Both men are eliminated. This was an okay match and that's about it so I don't think it's a nom.
