Road Warriors & Jake the Snake Roberts vs. Tim Horner, Ron Garvin & King Kong Bundy (Georgia 3/31/84)

- Early on, Hawk gets a small measure of revenge by squashing Horner. From there on out, really fun 6-man where the heels maintain control when Horner or Garvin are in there but get squashed by Bundy when he gets in. Naturally, Horner plays FIP for an extended period of time. The finish is a little awkward as Horner rolls up Jake because Hawk took too long in getting in the ring and giving Horner a clothesline. Still, this is a decent TV match and a nomination.

“Hands of Stone” Ronnie Garvin, “White Lightning” Tim Horner, & King Kong Bundy vs. The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) & Jake “The Snake” Roberts (3/31/84)

This is a very rare six-man match on TV and even rarer to have all big names involved and the fans are eating it up. Horner really looks good here throwing dropkicks on everyone and Bundy shows off his power game as the faces have the heels reeling. Ellering would get his troops on the floor as we go to a break. They come back with Jake having Horner in a reverse chinlock so we got some clipping and Horner is playing FIP. Horner takes a beating but ends up tagging in Garvin and the 6-way brawl is on with the faces cleaning house but it breaks back down into a normal match with Hawk & Horner going at it and Horner ends up being the FIP again before again tagging in Garvin. Garvin starts in on Jake but he falls to the pressure of the LOD before tagging Horner back in so he can get more of a beating but he gets Jake in an O’Connor Roll then eats a big clothesline from Hawk. The 6-way brawl would start back up and Nick Patrick eventually calls the match. Fun while it lasted but it was a disjointed match and not a nomination in my eyes.
