LeDuc overpowers Steamboat but Steamboat displays his own power by slamming Joe twice and giving him a backbreaker. Really nice sequence where Joe powers out of a Steamboat chinlock with Steamer on his back so Steamer pushes him to the corner into a rollup only for Joe to kick out and send Steamer head first into the bottom turnbuckle. Damn, I never thought I would see Joe LeDuc and Steamboat get into a chopping contest but it rules. Dory Funk Jr. eventually comes in for a DQ and puts a bad ending on a super fun match. Nomination. June 8, 201312 yr comment_5547087 NWA World TV Title: Jos LeDuc © vs. Ricky Steamboat (10/13/82) Steamer comes out blazing on LeDuc here slamming him numerous times and has him frustrated to start but LeDuc comes back and uses his power to weaken Steamer. Steamer is pesky though and fights back getting a nearfall on a cross body block off the middle rope before going to a Boston Crab which brings out Dory for the DQ. Dory & LeDuc double up on Steamer until Youngblood makes the save. Fun match and I'll push it forward.
July 10, 201312 yr comment_5550647 I'll say it's a low end nomination. LeDuc threw a great punch, and his forearm was just wicked. Steamboat working the back was well done. The chop off was pretty great too.Again this is one of those borderline picks.
