(Main event are complete; other matches edited)

Early 1981

Sweet Ebony Diamond & Matt Borne vs. Sheepherders

- Fun match but a step below some of the Sheeps work in Portland.

Blackjack Mulligan vs. Bobby Duncum

- We only get the intros and the finish. Mulligan wins.

Paul Jones vs. Iron Sheik

- We only get a little less than 5 minutes of this one.

Greg Valentine vs. Ric Flair (start at 24:50) (28:35)

- Former partners clash. For the first ten minutes, Flair controls and they take thier time in setting the tone. However, with a few well-placed, vicious elbows from Valentine, he turns the tide. While Flair worked the arm when in control, Valentine is working the neck and head. The last 8 minutes or so had both guys throwing everything at each other in an attempt to put the match away. Flair wins the match by countout but it was actually a pretty cool ending. They were battling on the apron outside the ropes. Valentine knocks Flair over the ropes with a hard blow but falls off the apron at the ten count. This was a great match and an easy nomination.

Late 1981

Sgt. Slaughter vs. Jay Youngblood

- Only a couple of minutes shown here.

Ivan Koloff vs. Leroy Brown

- Less than a couple of minutes to this one.

Roddy Piper vs. Wahoo McDaniel

- Man, I wish they would have filmed this one. Only clips :(

Ric Flair vs. Ole Anderson (Indian Strap Match) (21:11)

- Both guys are pretty reserved in the early part with Flair trying to get Ole on the ground and Ole grabbing onto Flair's arm. It picks up midway through with more brawling and incorporating the strap into the match. This started off slow but the 2nd half makes this a keeper. Nomination.

Mid-Atlantic Tag Titles: The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) © vs. Matt Borne & Sweet Ebony Diamond (10/18/80)

This is from Buffalo, NY and a very rare handheld from the era. This is clipped but looked fun.

Blackjack Mulligan vs. "Big Bad" Bobby Duncum (10/18/80)

Again this is clipped.

Canadian Heavyweight Title: Iron Sheik © vs. "Number One" Paul Jones (10/18/80)

Jones is waving the American flag before the match getting the crowd riled up. This is also clipped.

US Heavyweight Title: Greg "The Hammer" Valentine © vs. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair (10/18/80)

Buffalo is smokin hot for Flair here chanting his name before the match. Good standard wrestling action to start with Flair getting the advantage working holds and keying on Valentine's left arm. Valentine eventually starts throwing some hard right forearms at Flair's face at a fast pace to turn the tide in his favor and this is getting really good. Valentine then takes Flair to the mat where he smothers him basically while working on his left arm with a reverse hammerlock and they keep it moving so the fans are into Flair getting up. Flair comes back firing some great forearms as well and this is turning into a stiff slugfest with both men laying in the shots. The stretch run was very fun as Flair gets quite a few nearfalls and the figure-four but Valentine would always find a way to survive. The finish was interesting as Flair had Valentine on the apron and started pounding on him before Greg brought Flair out with him forcing a double count well Flair would hit Valentine and both fell but Flair fell in the ring to win by countout. Fans hated the finish but this was a fantastic match and a definite nomination.

Sgt. Slaughter vs. Jay Youngblood (10/17/81)

Clipped up.

"Bad Bad" Leroy Brown vs. "Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff (10/17/81)

Again clipped up.

Chief Wahoo McDaniel vs. Rowdy Roddy Piper (10/17/81)

Yet again clipped up sadly.

Indian Strap Match for the NWA World Heavyweight Title: "Nature Boy" Ric Flair © vs. Ole Anderson (10/17/81)

Yeah they work the early part of this match like a regular match although Ole uses the strap a little bit to choke Flair and to keep him near him so he could strike him. Flair kicks up the aggression by firing shots at Ole then using the strap to bring him back for more punishment and now it's getting good. Ole is the first one to go for the corners but he misses at 3 and Flair goes nuts on him hitting him with fists, elbows, & forearms. After some more strap play, Flair would get the figure-four getting the crowd going big and then he started swinging the strap weakening Ole to the point where he drug him around the ring to all the corners but again Ole found a way to survive. Ole would climb up top and Flair pulled him off which was always a great spot in the match before he started touching the corners and before he got to the 4th one, Ivan ran out to attack him but it backfired as Flair would get the corner anyway. Wahoo would run out to save Flair from the double-team. Very fun match and this moves forward fairly easily.
