Bob & Brad Armstrong vs. Garvin & Dundee (TV 11/29/86)

- Impromptu challenge with Bullet Bob wearing jeans. Damn, Dundee has nice punches. I don't know if it is an illusion but Bullet Bob strieks and kicks seem much stiffer when in street clothes. The man is wrestling with dress shoes on. Great spot as Garvin is choking Brad on the top rope form the apron so Dundee lifts his legs and kicks him square in the nuts. Later, Brad would hit a sweet missile dropkick that sends Dudnee to the other side of the ring. This ends in a Double DQ but was enough for a nomination.

World Wide Wrestling 11/30/86

"White Lightning" Tim Horner vs. "Superstar" Bill Dundee (11/24/86)

Now this is a cool matchup. Horner has Dundee flustered early in the match until Dundee sends him to the floor and then that is where he started controlling the match. Both men would take turns teeing off on the other one but it was nothing really dynamic. Jimmy Garvin would then run out for the DQ where Horner ate the Brainbuster and Bombs Away before Brad ran out to make the save.

Dundee, Garvin, & Precious then cut a promo afterwards about what they just did and how they are going to win the Stampedes.

Nelson Royal is out next telling everyone what the Bunkhouse Stampede is and how he was in the first one.

The Kansas Jayhawks (Bobby Jaggers & Dutch Mantell) vs. Eddie Roberts & Alan West (11/24/86)

Jayhawks look strong here.

Brad Armstrong vs. Ron Rossi (11/24/86)

Rossi jumps Brad at the bell....that was a mistake as he lost very quickly.

Mulkey falls quickly to the Brainbuster.

RnR are out next again talking about being banged up but wanting to be in the Stampedes for the big money.

The Barbarian & Shaska Whatley vs. Vernon Deaton & Randy Mulkey (11/24/86)

Easy win for the heels.

Cornette & Bubba are out next talking about how Bubba is going to dominate the Stampedes.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff & Krusher Khruschev vs. Brodie Chase & Ricky Lee Jones (11/24/86)

Ricky tries but his partner is no match for the Russians.

Next we get promos from Valiant, Morton, & Nikita for the 12/13 show in Philly.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Hector Guerrero & Keith Patterson (11/24/86)

Poor Hector having to team with Patterson and having to job here.

Cornette and his boys cut a promo after the match talking about the Stampedes, Roadies, & Ronnie Garvin.

Championship Wrestling 12/5/86

This starts with Bob Armstrong out cutting a promo about seeing Brad which brought out Dundee who along with Garvin attacked Bob and laid him out with a metal trash can. Extra material.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Clement Fields (11/29/86)

Dundee & Garvin just manhandle this poor guy as the crowd is still pissed from what happened with Bob earlier. Dundee, Garvin, & Precious then cut a wild promo after the match as Dundee is full on nuts. Dundee was so underutilized in this promotion.

The Kansas Jayhawks (Bobby Jaggers & Dutch Mantell) vs. Phil Brown & Bill Tabb (11/29/86)

Easy win for the Jayhawks.

Brad Armstrong comes out next and says that he wants Dundee & Garvin with Bob as his partner with the heels coming out and agreeing.

Bob & Brad Armstrong vs. "Superstar" Bill Dundee & "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin (11/29/86)

This is nothing but a brawl at the start before it breaks down into a normal but heated match. Everyone was firing off some hard hitting shots here and I really dug the chaotic vibe you got at times. This wasn't your normal TV match as these guys exuded the hatred and the crowd was red hot for this. Dundee would spray Brad & Bob in the eyes but even that didn't put the Armstrong's away. Brad was so good at working FIP here taking lots of punishment before finally making a comeback with two great dropkicks for a nearfall. Bob & Garvin would come in and the 4-way brawl was too much for referee Scrappy McGowan who called for the bell. Bob & Brad then cut great promos afterwards. This was the best TV match they have had in the past couple of months and this moves forward fairly easily.
