Posted December 24, 200717 yr comment_5425865 I doubt anyone else will enjoy this as much as I did, but this was a really good one-man show from Ware. Other than a nice monkey flip bump, Sexton was terribly bland. Ware makes a good match with his bumping, offense (those dropkicks...), and great selling in a really inactive and loose Sexton chinlock. It'll probably get knocked off when we watch more stuff but I enjoyed it enough to nominate.
March 7, 200817 yr Author comment_5429077 No, it's a disc Ryan did that I got from Loss. I was pretty sure you had it. July 12, 200817 yr comment_5432800 This was a really fun back and forth match, Koko was so amazing at this point, he may have been a bigger WWF waste then even Hennig or Savage. I loved all the rope running spots, Sexton was a bit bland, but fuck it I am throwing this up
August 8, 200817 yr comment_5433772 Jesus was Koko fucking great here as those dropkicks were so awesome and he made Branch look like a star. Sexton was okay but like everyone else said bland although he wasn't bad in the ring. This should move forward.
August 11, 200817 yr comment_5433888 I am going with a low-end nom, mainly because it was criminally short and there was nothign really blow away about any of the work. However, Koko was a stud here just nailing everything and Sexton actually did a few cool things like the backdrop-elbow drop combo. If this finds a way on, it may be the 125th match picked but not necessarily voted 125.
August 11, 200817 yr Author comment_5433891 Even though I've watched a lot more stuff since, this is such an impressive Koko one man show that I think it belongs as further illustration of just how good he was. Like his Lawler-Ventura or Lawler-Man Mountain Link 6 man tag.
August 11, 200817 yr comment_5433896 I think the Koko-Rogers match where Koko mauls Rogers is a better match to display Koko's greatness.
August 11, 200817 yr Author comment_5433904 Yeah, but there's a difference between having a good match w/ Tommy Rogers and having one with Ron Sexton.
