Posted December 27, 200717 yr comment_5425921 Badstreet Match for the World Six-Man Tag Titles: The Fabulous Freebirds (Terry “Bamm Bamm†Gordy, Michael Hayes, & Buddy Roberts) © vs. Fritz, Kevin, & Mike Von Erich (5/6/84) (Triumph & Tragedy) This is just a tremendous wild brawl that goes all over Texas Stadium with insane heat and the Freebirds who just bump all over the place for the Von Erichs. The stuff with Fritz was great especially the whipping he gave Hayes that he told him he would give since his daddy never did it. Gordy threw some awesome punches here, Hayes looked as good as ever, and Buddy did his usual great selling and bumping. Hayes blades for Fritz’s iron claw and Kevin hits a big cross body block off the top rope on Buddy for the win. Killer Khan shows up after the match putting the Oriental Spike on Kevin until Kerry comes out to even the odds. This is a definite nomination.
August 13, 200817 yr comment_5433999 Romdam Ultimate WCCW #3 3. Freebirds vs Fritz, Kevin, + Mike Von Erich - Texas Stadium, 5-6-84 I thought this was just s tremendous brawl. This was wild and super heated. Just some great brawling with the Birds bumping all over the place Hayes was just great in his role bumping, showing ass, and beating some ass also. I don't know who the Freebirds bumped bigger for Fritz or Watts? Overall, just a super brawl and a slam dunk pick. I'll 2nd KrisZ nom.
