Awesome post-match as Calhoun decks Jimmy Hart and then the Heartbreakers murder him for it before a zillion babyfaces make the save. Enough fun for a nomination.
February 25, 200817 yr comment_5428568 Handicap Match for the Southern Tag Titles: Ricky Gibson © vs. The Nightmare (Danny Davis) & Speed (Ken Wayne) (9/26/81) This is a handicap match due to Robert having to attend to an emergency. Jimmy Hart wants his boys to break Gibson’s fingers so he can’t communicate with his deaf mother. Nightmare loads up his mask and they bloody Gibson who juices like crazy. Gibson tries to fight back hitting everyone including Jerry Calhoun prompting a DQ. I’m with GH as this wasn’t really a match but it was a great angle that sees Calhoun attack Jimmy Hart after the match and eats a spike piledriver for his effort.
