Posted January 8, 200818 yr comment_5426640 This was an early match in the feud clearly, as it hadn't broken down yet to a crazy brawl. Moondogs had some fun high end offense including a great jumping knee by Spike. Not the longest match, but fun stuff and a low end nomination Memphis arena footage 5/7/83
February 29, 200817 yr comment_5428819 Southern Tag Titles: The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & Stan Lane) © vs. The Moondogs (Rex & Spot) (4/4/83) This is nothing but a fight with both teams looking really solid in their brawling especially the Fabs who were throwing bombs. Lane took a beating as the FIP but got the hot tag to Keirn who started cleaning house before the bone came into play as Spotty whacked him from behind and Rex covered him for the pinfall to win the titles. This is a low-end nomination but it’s good enough to be on the block.
March 24, 200817 yr comment_5429845 Fabulous Ones vs. Moondogs - I really enjoyed this one. There wasn't much from a wrestling standpoint but the Fabs through some nice punches and the Dogs were laying in with some nice headbutts. This match was mainly a bunch of punching and kicking with Stan Lane playing face in peril. When Keirn comes in, he cleans house with some nice punches and even plays rough, biting the forehead of one of the Dogs. In the end, Keirn gets laid out with a bone and the Dogs get the win. This was pretty fun. I don't think it would have made it onto the Mid South set but it still deserves some consideration and a nomination.
July 6, 200817 yr comment_5432698 I'll agree this is a low-end nom. It has enough good stuff to go forward, but I could see it getting the ax at the end because of some of the other great matches in the feud.
